In this energetic role, you will assist with the collection, loading, and unloading of waste and recyclables from residential properties. Your efforts will ensure efficient waste management services while promoting safety and teamwork. This position offers an engaging work environment where your physical activity and attention to detail make a real difference every day.Duties<ul><li>Assist with the collection and removal of residential waste and recyclables using various trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, or flatbeds.</li><li>Load and unload waste containers from trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of heavy materials through manual lifting techniques.</li><li>Operate different types of commercial trucks with manual transmissions, including tractor-trailers and dump trucks, following all safety protocols.</li><li>Support the driver in maneuvering trucks around neighborhoods, ensuring minimal disruption to residents while maintaining safety standards.</li><li>Conduct routine inspections of trucks and equipment to identify mechanical issues early; report any maintenance needs promptly.</li><li>Follow all traffic laws and driving regulations during collection routes to ensure safe transportation of waste materials.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to complete daily route tasks efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout the workday.</li><li>Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks for extended periods in various weather conditions.
