BIG PICTURE: 
Our podcast isn&rsquo;t just about conversations- it&rsquo;s about turning powerful moments into content that reaches millions and inspires real change. In this role, you&rsquo;ll identify through testing the most compelling clips from each episode, craft scroll-stopping captions, and distribute them across platforms in a way that maximizes reach and engagement. Your work will help transform long-form podcast conversations into viral social moments that bring new audiences into the Dhar Mann ecosystem and reinforce our mission of creating content that not only entertains, but changes lives. 
HOW YOU&rsquo;LL SPEND YOUR TIME:
<ul>
<li>Writing high-engagement, platform-specific captions that capture the emotional heart of each episode and encourage viewer interaction.</li>
<li>Testing clips through trial reels, Facebook ad A/B tests, and other rapid experimentation methods to identify which moments, hooks, and captions are most likely to perform before scaling distribution.</li>
<li>Managing the end-to-end posting process, including uploading all video clips, thumbnails, and assets across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.</li>
<li>Creating and maintaining a robust social media content calendar to ensure a consistent and strategic posting cadence.</li>
<li>Pulling key metrics from each episode and social post to provide minor reports on what is resonating with the audience and where we can improve.</li>
<li>Monitoring comments and trends to keep our community active and connected to the mission.</li>
<li>Working closely with podcast production team for winning content strategy that cuts through the noise.</li></ul> 


WHAT YOU HAVE:
<ul>
<li>3+ years of experience managing social media for high-growth creators, podcasts, or digital media brands.</li>
<li>A natural ability to write hooks that grab attention and captions that tell a story.</li>
<li>Deep knowledge of social media landscape, algorithms, and best practices for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Reels, and Facebook.</li>
<li>Ability to look at a dashboard of metrics and translate them into actionable insights for the creative team, including 7-day and 30-day reports.</li>
<li>A passion for creating content that makes a positive impact on the world.</li> 
</ul>
WHO OVERSEES YOU:

Social Media Manager reports to the Podcast Producer. 


WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:

Our Editor will work remotely from home or personal office and will be required to utilize Changing Lives Productions time tracking software to log and submit work hours. 
WHEN THE MAGIC HAPPENS:

The typical work schedule is Monday - Friday, with schedule flexibility. This position often requires working long hours including nights and weekends.

We&rsquo;re looking for a killer short-form editor/producer who doesn&rsquo;t just cut clips &mdash; you tell stories in seconds.If you obsess over retention graphs, replay moments in your head before you sleep, and believe a 30-second video can hit harder than a movie trailer&hellip; keep reading.

Your edits will be seen by millions, shape culture, and set the standard for what great vertical storytelling looks like. 
HOW YOU&rsquo;LL SPEND YOUR TIME:

<li>Turn raw footage into emotion-driven vertical stories (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)</li>
<li>Build viral hooks in the first 1&ndash;3 seconds that stop the scroll</li>
<li>Shape edits to maximize watch time, retention, and replays</li>
<li>Add smart, tasteful polish: simple VFX, sound design, music, pacing, color &mdash; nothing flashy, everything intentional</li>
<li>Create multiple edit variations of the same video to test hooks, pacing, and structure</li>
<li>Study performance daily and edit with analytics in mind, not ego</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with producers and creatives to level up every post</li></ul>

<li>You know how to manufacture emotion quickly &mdash; humor, tension, heart, surprise</li>
<li>You can look at a clip and instantly know what the hook should be</li>

<li>You love experimenting, testing, iterating, and optimizing</li>

All things creative take place at our studio in Burbank, California.
