Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in various settings, including in home and community environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the well-being of clients. To be adaptable to MCR and community stabilization practices to assist and aid those in need.Duties<ul><li>Provide direct support and care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.</li><li>Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.</li><li>Implement behavioral therapy techniques and clinical counseling strategies to promote mental health.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans following ICD-9 coding standards.</li><li>Address gender issues counseling as needed, fostering an inclusive environment for all clients.</li><li>Engage with families to provide education and support regarding patient care strategies.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong knowledge of patient care practices.</li><li>Familiarity with ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation and billing processes.</li><li>Experience in social work or direct support roles within healthcare settings.</li><li>Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and clinical counseling approaches.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a patient-centered focus.</li><li>Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for individuals under care.</li><li>Familiarity with developing individual service plans and the execution of them.</li></ul>This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others through dedicated support and care.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, ContractPay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>Medical Specialty:<ul><li>Psychiatry</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hampton, VA 23666
