<div>Position Summary
The Financial Planning &amp; Analysis (FP&amp;A) Analyst provides strategic insight and oversight for all Chaparral and Robalo FP&amp;A activities. This role is responsible for coordinating and consolidating the strategic plan, annual budget, forecasts, and monthly financial reporting processes. The FP&amp;A Analyst partners closely with brand leadership and corporate teams to enhance data quality, improve reporting capabilities, and drive accuracy and timeliness across all FP&amp;A functions.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Partner with finance leadership to support timely financial close and forecasting processes
</li><li>Prepare and analyze variance reports, identifying key drivers and trends year-over-year and against plan
</li><li>Develop and maintain a rolling three-year strategic financial plan in collaboration with business segment leaders and corporate teams
</li><li>Lead the annual budgeting process, including development of timelines, standardized templates, and presentation materials
</li><li>Prepare monthly forecasts and support monthly financial review meetings for business segments
</li><li>Enhance and maintain internal reporting to support business performance (e.g., sales, market trends, orders, margins)
</li><li>Review and support pricing models to ensure accuracy and effectiveness for new products and model year updates
</li><li>Maintain and improve reporting capabilities within Adaptive Insights to streamline forecasting and budgeting processes
</li><li>Coordinate and review Capital Appropriation Requests (PARs), promoting a standardized and controlled process
</li><li>Support executive-level reporting related to financial results, forecasts, and budgets
</li><li>Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed
</li></ul>Education &amp; Experience<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA, CPA, and/or CMA preferred
</li><li>3&ndash;6 years of experience in accounting or finance
</li><li>Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
</li><li>Public accounting experience preferred
</li><li>Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and develop meaningful insights
</li><li>Proficient in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and projections
</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills
</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
</li><li>Experience with financial and/or consolidation systems preferred
</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
</li><li>Familiarity with internal controls and SOX compliance
</li><li>Ability to facilitate and participate in cross-functional meetings
</li><li>Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
</li></ul>Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment with controlled temperature, humidity, and noise levels. The role requires regular communication, along with occasional walking, bending, and lifting of moderate weight. Adherence to company quality standards and safety regulations is required.
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel (approximately 5&ndash;10%) to corporate offices and affiliated locations in Tennessee and Michigan.</div>
