<div>Dental Laboratory Technician (Part-Time) 
Reports to: Chief of Dentistry, Queens

Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Fabrication of Dental Appliances:<ul><li>
Create ceramic crowns and bridges, dentures (full), and other restorations utilizing ITero and Trios scanning along with a milling machine and 3D printing</li><li>
Fabricate appliances for bruxism such as mouth guards</li></ul></li><li>
Work with Dental Impressions and Models:<ul><li>
Read prescriptions and specifications from dentists</li><li>
Examine models and impressions to assist with the design of dental products</li><li>
Create accurate models of patients' mouths and teeth from the dentist's impressions or scans</li></ul></li><li>
Use Lab Equipment and Techniques:<ul><li>
Melt metals or mix plaster, porcelain, or acrylic pastes</li><li>
Pour materials into molds or over frameworks to form dental prostheses or apparatuses</li><li>
Polish and shape appliances using hand tools or power tools</li><li>
Use CAD/CAM technology for designing and manufacturing dental appliances</li></ul></li><li>
Collaboration and Communication:<ul><li>
Collaborate with dentists and other dental lab technicians</li><li>
Communicate with dentists to plan, design, and fabricate dental prostheses</li></ul></li><li>
Quality Control and Maintenance:<ul><li>
Test appliances for accuracy and fit on supplied impressions, scans and models</li><li>
Inspect final products for quality and accuracy</li><li>
Ensure a clean and safe work environment, following strict infection control and safety protocols</li></ul></li><li>
Available to work a minimum of three (3) days per week</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul>
Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>
Certificate or associate's degree from an accredited dental laboratory technology program</li><li>
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred</li><li>
Manual dexterity and precision</li><li>
Attention to details</li><li>
Solid understanding of dental materials, techniques, and procedures</li><li>
Ability to work well with dentists and auxiliary staff</li></ul>
Compensation and Benefits:<ul><li>
Salary: $30.00 - 35.00 per hour</li><li>
