 6:00am to 4:00pm, with rotating days off (Overtime as needed is required)
 
 
 
 The Role
 
 
 
 We are seeking hard-working and reliable warehouse workers to join our growing operation.
 
 
 Responsible for maintaining a steady supply of product in stock for the picking crew; receive accurately as well as keep a running account of all inventory and its locations. Pull partial orders and prepare them for delivery to customers.
 
 Prepare and package individual produce items in bags and bunches on the line when needed.
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 Required Skills and Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 1 year warehouse/picking experience preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong attention to detail
 </li>
 <li>
 Positive attitude and high level of effort
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work in frozen (-10 F) and refrigerated (36 F) environments
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have intermediate English skills (reading/writing/speaking)
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic math skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work under pressure and tight time lines

 Job Description
 
 
 
 
 The Role
 
 
 
 The Safety Coordinator reports directly to our corporate Director of Safety and will support all Safety and Health initiatives. This position requires a significant knowledge of various generally recognized workplace safety, quality assurance programs and regulatory compliance. As the Safety Coordinator, you will immerse in a variety of tasks to support, reinforce, and maintain a high level of safety at Charlie&rsquo;s Produce.
 
 
 
 Essential Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Coordinate with the corporate safety director to drive and implement compliance and workplace safety initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must stay abreast and ensure highly disciplined compliance of legal changes, code revisions, directives and policies mandated by Charlie&rsquo;s Produce, OSHA, WISHA, and other regulatory agencies Charlie's Produce is subject to.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in presenting new hire, monthly, and annual safety training programs that captures the attention of staff and entails all the required elements of OSHA compliance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct OSHA 1910 General Industry required training such as P.I.T., Hazard Communication, &amp; LOTO.
 </li>
 <li>
 Help oversee accident, incident, and near miss cases and participate in the investigation of safety accidents and injuries, identifying causes, and finding corrective actions to reduce future occurrences.
 </li>
 <li>
 Help record injury occurrences and assist with our return-to-work program for modified duty employees.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the management of our on-campus security &amp; safety program.
 </li>
 <li>
 Interact with regulatory agencies and 3rd party auditors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support management and supervisors in their efforts to establish a proactive safety culture.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and create safety metric trend spreadsheets and report involving leading/lagging indicators.
 </li>
 <li>
 Help coordinate &amp; oversee periodic departmental emergency drills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Intervene in the case of unsafe activities or operations being carried out by employees within the workplace.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with completion of inspections, assessments, surveys, and program evaluations to identify potential hazards, and ensure compliance with all applicable safety and environmental rules.
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with line supervision and management to facilitate the training required in our facilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, to write routine reports and correspondence, and to speak effectively before a group of employees.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 Required Skills and Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 1+ years of experience minimum of working in a warehouse or production environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 1+ years of experience working in a safety capacity.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be proficient with MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous experience reading safety-related documents, such as technical reports and SOPs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous experience in hazard assessment and controls.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal
 </li>
 <li>
 Sense of urgency and ownership regarding role and the needs of the department.
 </li>
 <li>
 Emotional intelligence with the ability to be flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid Driver&rsquo;s License.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Preferred Skills And Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Understand L&amp;I regulations and basic medical and worker&rsquo;s compensation terminology to communicate effectively with human resources.
 </li>
 <li>
 CPR First Aid/ AED Certification.
 </li>
 <li>
 Power Industrial Truck Trainer Certification.
 </li>
 <li>
 OSHA10/30 Certification.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
