Job Description 
The Role
This position assists with all activities related to QC and inventory control within the warehouse environment. Their main objective is to ensure that all materials are properly stored and that accurate and appropriate levels of inventory are maintained in order to meet customer demands. The QC responsibilities include inspecting all inbound and outbound product to ensure that company quality and dating standards are met. This position will work closely with the receiving group to identify any quality issues with incoming product and take the appropriate action. QC will also work closely with the Purchasing Department to resolve quality issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (any combination of the following job duties):<ul><li>
All employees are responsible for food safety and are expected to notify the appropriate manager, supervisor, or key personnel if they witness any compromise to food safety or food quality</li></ul>
Quality Control<ul><li>
Walk the warehouse and cold rooms multiple times daily, inspecting the overall quality of ALL inventory in the facility. This includes opening cases, checking receiving dates, and proper case rotation in the pick slots.</li><li>
Work with Warehouse staff to check back stock products on upper- tier racking</li><li>
Work with Sales and Buying departments to recommend movement of product to Repack Department and/or clearance.</li><li>
Work closely with Buyers, QA, and Operations to communicate needs and opportunities</li><li>
Participate in internal and external Quality audits.</li><li>
Report to management on quality and food safety issues and trends</li></ul>
Peripheral Duties: Other duties as assigned by Manager. 
Qualifications 
Desired Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>
3-5 years produce industry experience, or an equivalent amount of education and experience.</li><li>
Ability to multi task and plan and carry out projects with well-defined goals and outcomes</li><li>
Possess excellent communication and relationship building skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization</li><li>
Good judgment and the awareness of financial impact of decisions</li><li>
Ability to act with honesty and integrity and perform work at a level which promotes a positive image of the organization and the marketplace</li><li>
Proficiency in MS Office products, with emphasis in Excel</li></ul>

Job Description 
The Role
We&rsquo;re looking for a Business Manager to help run the day-to-day business side of our wholesale produce operation. You&rsquo;ll be the go-between for Sales and Purchasing, keeping pricing, margins, programs, and reporting tight&mdash;so we can grow profitably and avoid costly misses. If you&rsquo;re great with data, like digging into what&rsquo;s driving results, and can communicate clearly with a bunch of different teams, you&rsquo;ll fit right in.
What you&rsquo;ll do:
You&rsquo;ll wear a few hats&mdash;pricing and margin management, business reporting, contract/program support, and some office/admin coordination.
Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To
Profitability, pricing, and growth<ul><li>
Own profitability analysis across all sales channels.</li><li>
Review daily margins and recommend quick changes to drive results.</li><li>
Build and maintain pricing strategies and tools (including our pricing matrix).</li><li>
Partner with Sales to set up customer pricing and make sure it&rsquo;s working in the real world.</li><li>
Understand program/contract pricing and help keep us aligned with customer agreements.</li><li>
Bring clear reporting and insights to the leadership team to support decisions.</li><li>
Work with the General Manager on margin targets and follow-through.</li><li>
Team up with Purchasing and Sales to stay compliant with contracts and programs.</li><li>
Set up new items for schools and special orders; support pricing, bidding, and category/customer needs.</li><li>
Run regular reports to review customer pricing and catch issues early.Office illing &amp; accounting support</li></ul>
Office &amp; Operations support<ul><li>
Process inbound invoices, customer payments (cash/check), and credits.</li><li>
Handle daily mail and bank runs.</li><li>
Route vendor, utility, and other bills to Accounts Payable for processing.</li><li>
Keep the office stocked: track inventory and order supplies.</li><li>
Make sure cost changes and receiving corrections are accurate so invoices and POs reconcile cleanly.</li><li>
Track and coordinate office equipment (laptops, phones, headsets, docking stations, etc.).</li><li>
Help with admin needs like travel/hotel bookings for employees traveling for work.</li></ul>
Projects &amp; cross-team work<ul><li>
Jump in on special projects as needed with the Sales Manager and General Manager.</li></ul><ul><li>
Be the division&rsquo;s go-to contact for basic IT coordination (satellite support).</li><li>
Dig into the business and spot opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.</li><li>
Support tracking of internal rebates, freight income, and contract/program management.</li><li>
Work with Purchasing on variances and follow-ups.</li><li>
Partner with the corporate pricing/admin team to keep pricing setup and processes consistent.</li><li>
Help manage vendor credits and follow through to resolution.</li></ul> 
Qualifications 
Required Experience<ul><li>
Minimum of 5 years&rsquo; experience in Finance, Accounting, or Business Manager Role</li><li>
Experience in wholesale, produce, foodservice, or a fast-moving distribution environment.</li><li>
Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of internal and external customers.</li><li>
Effective teacher and educator</li><li>
Excellent organizational skills, ability to track and monitor programs using a detailed spreadsheet or MS Access system.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections</li><li>
Strong analytical skills relating to mathematical calculations, logical/relational similarities, and problem solving</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></ul>
