POSITION SUMMARY: The Mammography Scheduler schedules mammography and DEXA appointments at multiple Charlotte Radiology facilities.
 
SHIFT: Mon-Fri 8a-5p
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Schedule mammography and dexa appointments. Provides information to the patient, in regard to anniversary dates and proper recommendation for return. Coordinate scheduling at multiple facilities</li>
<li>Works closely with the authorization department ensuring efficiency</li>
<li>Maintain effective communication with Special Accounts</li>
<li>Maintain effective record and data base information</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications: 
Education/Licensing/Certification: 
<ul>
<li>Highschool Education</li>
</ul>
Experience (years and type): 
<ul>
<li>Less than 1 year</li>
<li>Medical office, Customer service experience preferred</li>
</ul>
Knowledge and Skills: 
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of Medical Terminology</li>
<li>Knowledge of Windows and Outlook</li>
<li>Medical office experience</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication</li>
<li>Ability to work independently</li>
<li>Must be able to multitask and shift priorities</li>
<li>Excellent communication and Customer Service Skills</li>
<li>Must have excellent organizational and Interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Ability to withstand long periods of sitting and repetitive handwork</li>
</ul>
Travel Required (% of time):

<li>0-25%</li>
</ul>
