Overview
The Inspector I- LFP is an entry level, non-exempt position that reports to the LFP Production Supervisors. The Inspector I is responsible for complying with Charm Sciences, Inc. standard operating procedures, inspecting product, and operating packaging machines.
The pay range for this position is $15.50 to $20.14 per hour. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and other factors in accordance with applicable laws.
Essential Functions<ul><li>Comply with all Charm Sciences, Inc. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP&rsquo;s).</li><li>Inspect ROSA diagnostic tests as outlined in SOP: FLA-152: Lateral Flow Inspection.</li><li>Always maintain a clean safe work environment.</li><li>Load ROSA tests on both manual machine and automatic loaders.</li><li>Works efficiently on a production line where priorities can shift throughout the day.</li><li>Report any line issues, product issues or other work-related concerns to the inspector-II, inspector-III or the LFP Production Supervisor.</li><li>Nothing in this job description restricts management&rsquo;s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.</li></ul>
Requirements: 
Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities
Required:<ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Work hours for the LFP Department are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with occasional overtime.</li></ul>
Preferred:<ul><li>Basic English vocabulary.</li><li>1-2 years&rsquo; experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Excel.</li><li>Bilingual: English/Spanish.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements<ul><li>The person in this position must be able to frequently lift up to 10 pounds.</li><li>Must be able to work continuously in a low humidity environment.</li><li>The person in this position must be able to remain stationary for an extended length of time while working at a machine.</li><li>Able to visually inspect lateral flow strips.</li><li>The person in this position occasionally must operate a computer, a packaging machine and other production equipment.</li><li>Will be exposed to fluctuating environmental conditions, i.e., temperatures ranging from 4&deg;C in a walk-in cold-room where finished product is stored to 28&deg;C in LFP Dry Rooms.</li></ul></div>
