In this role, you'll handle scrap metals using a bridge crane, operate electric furnaces, and monitor alloy temperatures and compositions. You'll also perform daily equipment inspections, assist with furnace repairs, and maintain accurate production records.Molding Operator: You will Operate molding machines, assemble sand molds, and set cores for iron casting production. In this role, you'll inspect patterns, coordinate with melt and molding lines, and monitor casting quality. You'll also assist with ladle prep, equipment maintenance, and production setup. What you'll need: <ul><li>A high school diploma or GED (we can help through the GEDWorks program).</li><li>Prior experience working with industrial manufacturing environments. </li><li>Comfortable with basic math (like counting and simple calculations).</li><li>Can communicate clearly with team members.</li><li>A team player who works well with others.</li><li>Can follow directions and also help guide others when needed.</li><li>Good at solving simple problems on the job.</li><li>Can lift up to 60 lbs</li></ul> We offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, along with a 401(k) plan that includes employer matching and profit sharing. Just a short drive to Shawano. Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Technician At Charter Aarrowcast , our maintenance team is the backbone of our operation, keeping everything running smoothly. They tackle a variety of challenges, from installing and maintaining equipment to troubleshooting complex problems and executing preventive maintenance plans . Weekly Schedule: On our newly created weekend shift, you will only work 3 days! Friday, Saturday, Sunday on our 12 hour shift. Work only 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours! Nights and day shift available. 12 hour shifts 7pm - 7am or 7am-7pm</li></ul> What you'll do: <ul><li>Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines and equipment</li><li>Troubleshoot and fix mechanical and electrical issues</li><li>Work with hydraulic systems</li><li>Keep track of parts and tools</li><li>Check that parts meet required specs</li><li>Make sure all equipment is safe to use</li><li>Fill out maintenance records and reports</li><li>Keep your work area clean</li></ul> What you'll need: <ul><li>Technical degree in a related field, a journeyman's card, or 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical/mechanical maintenance</li><li>Read and interpret technical documents</li><li>Use electrical/mechanical testing and precision measuring tools</li><li>Operate hand and power tools</li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills</li><li>Experience with welding and torch equipment</li><li>Clear, effective communication with a focus on teamwork</li></ul> Nice to haves: <ul><li>Experience with Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs and Drives</li><li>Skilled in AC/DC motor maintenance, hydraulics, and pneumatics</li><li>Industry certifications are a plus</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Frequently stand and walk; occasionally sit, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs</li><li>Able to meet physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation</li><li>Clear, effective communication with a focus on teamwork and customer service</li></ul> We offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, along with a 401(k) plan that includes employer matching and profit sharing.
