SUMMARY
As a Cheba Hut Bartender, you will be responsible for your daily bartending, line, lobby, and patio duties. You will work with your MOD, AGM, and GM to ensure your daily bartending responsibilities meet all the required standards. You will uphold ALL liquor laws to protect the liquor license, business, and its employees. While bartending at Cheba Hut you will be expected to set a comfortable environment so that everyone feels welcome. You will also make sure that all employees follow the drinking policy while they are at the bar. You will uphold all shift drinking policies as well.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
ENFORCE ALL LIQUOR LAWS!</li><li>
Give every customer the Cheba bar experience they deserve.</li><li>
Serve drinks as needed.</li><li>
Receive all liquor and beer deliveries while double-checking and filing the invoices.</li><li>
Put away all deliveries.</li><li>
Complete all opening, shift change, closing, and cleaning checklists.</li><li>
Complete the prep list as needed.</li><li>
Work directly with your bar manager or GM on knowing all events coming up at the bar and in the neighborhood.</li><li>
Promoting and selling daily and happy hour specials.</li><li>
Have all menus available and ready for any customer that approaches.</li><li>
Checking with the bar manager or GM to make sure tap handles, menus, chalk work, and pricing are always up to date.</li><li>
Checking the bar log to catch up on what you missed.</li><li>
Cutting off any person who has reached their limit.</li><li>
Offering water, food, and a ride for any customer that should not drive.</li><li>
Knowing where every drop of alcohol is in the restaurant.</li><li>
Knowing all our company-wide partners and how they interoperate to our menus and specials.</li><li>
Using our recipe cards every time you make a cocktail.</li></ul>
KEY DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Answer the phone and take all pickup orders through the bar. Let the customer know to come to the bar and you will take care of them.</li><li>
Expo.</li><li>
Assisting third-party delivery drivers.</li><li>
Make baskets.</li><li>
Make Kool-Aid.</li><li>
The third point of contact.</li><li>
Make sure all booths, chairs, and tables are wiped down and clean.</li><li>
Sweep lobby.</li><li>
Refill soda station (lids, straws, cutlery, etc.).</li><li>
Refill all napkin dispensers.</li><li>
Make sure umbrellas are up.</li><li>
Make sure napkin dispensers are on the patio except when raining.</li></ul>
Requirements:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS<ul><li>
Must have ServSafe and/or TIPS certification</li><li>

Demonstrate integrity</li><li>

WORKING CONDITIONS<ul><li>
Late-night availability is a plus (Open till 2am on Weekend Nights)</li><li>
Ability to work well under physically and mentally stressful situations</li><li>
Ability to have reliable transportation</li><li>
Access to a smartphone</li><li>
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs</li><li>
Stamina to work an 8-hour shift</li><li>
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day</li><li>
Ability to handle a variety of foods including meat, cheese, bread, sauces, and vegetables</li><li>
Overtime may be required</li></ul>
