The Role 
As the Senior Manager of Financial Operations, you will have direct ownership of a critical team focused on complex reconciliations, automation, and project delivery. Your role is to combine expert-level operational oversight with effective people leadership, ensuring your team functions as a Centre of Excellence (CoE) and successfully supports the company's rapid growth.

What you will do:<ul><li>
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Financial Operations team of 15-20 Associate/Senior associates, setting clear goals, conducting performance reviews, and building a culture of accountability and professional growth.</li><li>
Define and execute the strategic vision for the team's function, identifying and driving key initiatives for automation, process re-engineering, and scalability to improve efficiency and control within the area.</li><li>

Job Description
The Role 
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst of Customer Due Diligence to join the Risk Operations team based in Dubai. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a crucial role in mentoring colleagues, and contributing to process improvements and delivering on tactical projects. You will act as an ambassador of the team on multiple forums with stakeholders as may be required. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining our commitment to excellence and achieving our strategic objectives. This position will report to the Head of Due Diligence based in London.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Act as the regional Customer Due Diligence specialist for the MENA region.</li><li>
Be the primary point of escalation for Enhanced Due Diligence reviews, complex issues and questions that analysts encounter during their day-to-day operations. Provide timely and effective resolutions to ensure smooth workflow and optimal outcomes.</li><li>
Own the relationship with the regional Money Laundering Reporting Officer, ensuring that escalations to second line are of the appropriate standard.</li><li>
Review and approve escalations and/ or decisions made by analysts, ensuring accuracy, adherence to guidelines, and company policies.</li><li>
Assume responsibility for the MENA portfolio review completion metrics</li><li>
Partner with the Underwriting team to solve complex onboarding issues, where nuanced regional Customer Due Diligence specialism is required.</li><li>
Conduct thorough quality control checks on all reviews, assessments, and reports produced by analysts. Ensure the highest level of accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.</li><li>
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains within the team, both at regional and global level. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement improvements and optimise workflows.</li><li>
Represent the team in both internal and external regional audits, and where required global engagements, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors. Ensure the team's practices and outputs are in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.</li><li>
Lead and manage tactical projects from inception to completion. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, set project timelines, and ensure successful project delivery within defined parameters.</li><li>
Take responsibility for delivering on special projects as agreed upon by the management or senior leadership. These projects may be ad hoc and require a strategic approach to achieve specific objectives.</li><li>

Working as part of our FinOps function, you'll support the reconciliation of Payment Gateway transactions. Evolving in a high-pace and multifaceted environment, meticulous attention to detail will be key.

Qualifications<ul><li>

Job Description
The Role 
As an Analyst I, you will take on a vital frontline role in protecting our customers and business from fraudulent activity. Operating within a 24H/7 shift system, you will be responsible for continuously monitoring suspicious card transaction activities and resolving confirmed fraud cases with urgency and precision. This role demands a high level of vigilance, accountability, and commitment to safeguarding the integrity of our financial ecosystem.
You will report directly to the Risk Monitoring Manager and serve as a point of escalation, providing subject matter expertise in card transaction monitoring. Your ability to remain composed under pressure, make sound decisions in real time, and uphold the highest standards of accuracy and responsiveness will be critical to your success.
In this role, you will proactively investigate customer activity across multiple platforms, identify emerging fraud patterns, and take immediate action to mitigate risks. Your work will involve close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders including Risk, Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Finance&mdash;ensuring a coordinated and effective response to fraud threats.

What your responsibilities will be<ul><li>
Support 24/7/365 transaction analysis efforts as part of a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.</li><li>
Ensure the transaction monitoring team meets its objectives and key results, including delivering high-quality investigations.</li><li>
Conduct ongoing monitoring of card transactions to identify potential fraud or risk activity.</li><li>
Take prompt and appropriate actions to mitigate fraud risk and protect both customers and the business.</li><li>
Perform transaction monitoring duties independently, with limited supervision.</li><li>
Apply technical knowledge and analytical skills to manage and resolve cases effectively with minimal guidance.</li><li>
Respond meticulously to both internal and external queries, demonstrating accuracy and professionalism.</li><li>
Demonstrate a strong capacity for self-management and proactively seek opportunities for learning and improvement.</li></ul>
What you will need to be successful (skills and competencies)<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree, preferably in Risk / Management / Finance / Business / Mathematics / Economics or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of experience in similar roles.</li><li>

Experience you will bring to the role:<ul><li>
As an Analyst you are expected to monitor transaction activity to mitigate fraud risks on cards issued to our clients and perform relevant analysis and conduct investigations for suspected fraudulent merchants and action on the flags in a timely manner.</li><li>
You should possess strong verbal and written communication skills to document and articulate the requirements, analysis and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to the stakeholders and customers.</li><li>
You must have a solution-driven approach with exemplary investigative and critical thinking skills.</li><li>
You must also be detail-oriented multi-taskers who can work independently with little supervision, at the same time have good decision making, time management and organizational skills.</li><li>
Participate in continuous training and stay up to date with evolving fraud trends and prevention techniques.</li><li>
Produce timely and accurate insights for the Senior Analyst or Team Lead to support informed decision-making, including escalating complex investigative issues when necessary.</li><li>
Provide recommendations to improve investigation quality and optimize current monitoring processes.</li><li>
Demonstrate a proficient understanding of both issuing &amp; acquiring risks and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of card schemes&rsquo; rules.</li><li>
Perform background checks on merchants, leveraging internal tools and external resources to assess merchants&rsquo; businesses.</li><li>
Identify risky business practices by merchants and present appropriate mitigations while using a risk-based approach.</li><li>
Create and communicate reports to relevant stakeholders on any risk concerns regarding merchants.</li><li>
Conduct analysis and investigation on any merchant&rsquo;s suspected fraudulent transactions by using multiple resources.</li><li>
Suggest innovative ideas / feedback to enhance the process and infrastructure, striving for continuous improvement in acquiring risk monitoring operations.</li></ul>
