Bar 39 is looking for an experienced, outgoing, and responsible bartender to join our team! We are friendly neighborhood college bar located in the Blackstone District. As a bartender at Bar 39, you will be responsible for creating not only cocktails but also a fun and welcoming environment for our guests.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide fast, friendly and professional bar service</li><li>Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks</li><li>Verify IDs and follow all alcohol service laws and policies</li><li>Handle cash and credit card transactions using a POS system</li><li>Keep bar area clean, organized and stocked</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Must be 21+</li><li>1+ year experience</li><li>Ability to stand for long periods of time</li><li>Ability to lift and carry at least 30-50 pounds</li><li>Must be reliable, punctual and available nights and weekends</li><li>Knowledge of basic cocktails, beer and liquor brands</li></ul>Preferred Traits:<ul><li>Outgoing and confident personality</li><li>Quick learner with a strong work ethic</li><li>Ability to handle a fast paced and loud environment</li><li>Responsible and a team player</li></ul>Work Environment:<ul><li>High-energy nightclub/college bar atmosphere</li><li>Loud music, crowded spaces and fast moving shifts</li><li>Live music and karaoke nights</li><li>21+ venue</li><li>Late night bar crowds</li></ul>Pay: From $10.00 per hourWork Location: In person
