Our design team has over 25 years of experience designing contemporary and bespoke residences and estates for discerning clients.Job SummaryThe Construction Laborer supports our field teams by performing a variety of hands-on, physical tasks to keep projects running smoothly. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone interested in starting a career in the construction trades.Responsibilities<ul><li>Clean and maintain job sites (sweeping, debris removal, organizing materials)</li><li>Load and unload tools, lumber, and other building materials</li><li>Dig trenches, footings, and drainage ditches as directed</li><li>Assist carpenters, framers, and other tradespeople as needed</li><li>Handle basic demolition and site prep work</li><li>Operate small hand tools and power tools safely (training provided)</li><li>Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace</li><li>Perform other general labor duties as assigned by site supervisors</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Must be at least 18 years old</li><li>Reliable transportation to and from job sites (primarily in the San Gabriel Valley area)</li><li>Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions</li><li>Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn</li><li>No prior construction experience required &mdash; training provided</li><li>Must be authorized to work in the U.S.</li></ul>You can see some of our featured projects here: https://chelseadc.com/Chelsea Design + Construction is committed to employing a diverse workforce.
