Primary Purpose:</b></p>
<p>
The primary responsibility of the Sr. Supplier Development Manager is to establish and execute plans to advance strategic supplier relationships, develop product line opportunities and identify/support other activities to expand ChemPoint&rsquo;s business.</p><br>

What you will do:</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Maps decision makers across the target organization</li>
<li>Gains an internal coach within the target organization</li>
<li>Collaboratively builds a Partnership Engagement plan both parties agree to with measurable goals around growing the collective business.</li>
<li>Leads supplier interactions to advance strategic alliances, attain new business, and leverages relationships to expand partnerships into new product lines, geographies and customer segments.</li>
<li>Creates sales strategies and plans to effectively move opportunities forward, keeping related supplier relationship work notes up to date to minimum established standards. This includes regular documentation of supplier interaction, teleconferences and visits.</li>
<li>Maintains strong, trustworthy relationships throughout the organization gaining influence to execute on the plan.
</li><li>Creates and owns the overall engagement plan and framing of the deal</li>
<li>Orchestrates Supplier interactions with others on the ChemPoint team</li>
<li>Holds Strategy Sessions before a Supplier visit with all involved outlining current situation, critical points to address and optimal outcome</li>
<li>Follows-up with team and supplier, making sure any outstanding action items being addressed.</li>
<li>Works closely with relevant Marketing Business Director to make sure the deal being developed is acceptable as it reaches fruition.</li></ul><br>

What you will need:</b></div>
<ul>
<li>4-year college degree or equivalent work experience</li>
<li>Experience in strategic marketing, management, direct sales, or business development, or 15+ years equivalent experience</li>
</ul><ul><li>Management skills and leadership qualities</li>
<li>Problem-solving and negotiation ability</li>
<li>Strong presentation, written and verbal communication and active listening skills</li>
<li>Consultative selling skills</li>
<li>Knowledge of pricing and marketing strategies and proper short- and long-term execution</li>
<li>Thorough knowledge of ChemPoint internal processes and functions of internal teams, IT applications, products, value-added services and industries served</li>
<li>Strong PC skills required, database experience</li>
<li>Comfortable using business tools like Teams, PowerPoint to aid in Supplier presentations</li>
<li>Comfortable engaging Suppliers face to face, on the phone or in a web meeting as appropriate</li>
<li>Travel 50-75%</li></ul><br>

Pay &amp; Benefits:</b><br>
<br>
The salary range for this position is $170,000- $191,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate&rsquo;s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay. Available employee benefits include health, vision, dental, and travel reimbursement. We also provide 401k matching for retirement and paid time off.<br>
