<p>
Works under the supervision of the Medical Director to evaluate, diagnose, and provide medical management for clients with co-occurring disorders, including the treatment of substance use concerns.</p>
Requirements:
<ul><li>Licensed with two years of experience with ambulatory detoxification and/or chemically supported treatment and currently licensed in Connecticut.</li><li>
Experience with Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD).</li><li>
Must be able to work effectively across cultures and demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of Latino and African American communities.</li><li>
Provides psychiatric evaluations, medication monitoring and psychiatric consultation.</li><li>
Collects and organizes information related to individual client, family, medical, substance use and mental health history, and onset/severity of symptoms obtained from client, family members, and other pertinent treatment providers.</li><li>
Provides medication education for individual clients, staff, and families as necessary.</li><li>
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing consultation for clinical staff.</li><li>
Completes clinical and medical documentation for individual client records.</li><li>
Must have excellent communication both verbal and written.</li><li>
Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and vehicle.</li></ul></div>
