The Hazardous Material/Hazardous Waste Technician will be responsible for proper and adequate management and operation of installation HW facilities in accordance with 40 CFR (Parts 260-266, 268, 270, 273, and 279), State of Florida HW Regulations, Pollution Prevention Act, related DoD and AF directives (including AFMAN 32-7002), and the installation Hazardous Waste Management Plan</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Management/accomplishment of waste pickup at Initial Accumulation Point (IAP) and transport to 90 day Hazardous Waste Accumulation Point (HWAP)/Hazardous Waste Storage Facility (HWSF).</li><li>
Operation of 90 day Hazardous Waste Accumulation Point (HWAP)/Hazardous Waste Storage Facility (HWSF) and Indsutrial Recycling Processes.</li><li>
Provide administration/data entry requirements of the HW module in the EESOH-MIS database, tracking all HW containers from time of generation until they reach the ultimate disposal facility off site.</li><li>
Provide management of non-hazardous industrial and special waste, used oil, and off-spec fuel; waste consolidation/lab packing, waste turn-in/preparation for shipment, pick-up of waste for transfer to central accumulation area.</li><li>
Management of the 90-day Central Accumulation Point/Hazardous Waste Accumulation Site and/or TSDF. Includes waste consolidation, segregation of HW, management of used oil and off-spec fuel, screen used oil, waste turn-in, facility inspections (at least weekly), container inspections (at least weekly), testing of equipment (at least monthly), contingency planning, preparation for shipment, housekeeping; new, used, and unusable container management; and facility maintenance work orders.</li><li>
Coordinate with MPM to manage Installation Accumulation Points.</li><li>
Conduct compliance inspections of installation Initial Accumulation Points.</li><li>
Maintain compliance with all AF policies and goals on HW reduction by conducting assigned waste minimization activities.
</li><li>Prepare HW containers for shipment and coordinate with transport/disposal contractors.</li><li>
Submit weekly list of containers awaiting shipment that have exceeded 45-days of storage time.</li><li>
Develop custom reports to support environmental reporting requirements.</li><li>
Inventory and maintain supplies to support the HW requirements.</li><li>
Conduct various environmental sampling activities IAW the Waste Analysis Plan (WAP) in the Hazardous Waste Management Plan (HWMP).
</li><li>Perform waste characterization, and waste profile generation.</li><li>
Strictly adhere to federal, state, and local waste regulations.</li><li>
Assist Hazmat management when necessary.</li><li>
Complete and maintain required training.</li><li>

<li>Active ITIL v4 certification</li>

<li>Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting</li>

<li>Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals</li>

IPPS-A is chartered to modernize and integrate more than 30 current Army Human Resource systems for readiness, talent management, personnel management, and pay activities that support 1.1 million soldiers. The team from Chenega-Cyberstar is responsible for providing program management support services across the IPPS-A program.</p>
<p>The <b>Operations Manager</b> supports the IPPS-A Increment-2 Program Management Office (PMO) and headquarters by leading, synchronizing, and coordinating human capital, contract, and operational management activities across the organization and with its higher headquarters.</p>
<p><b>Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul><li>Prepare and maintain program and contract documentation.</li>
<li>Capture meeting minutes and prepare meeting reports.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain a documentation management plan.</li>
<li>Provide program support for reviews, conferences, briefings, and other meetings.</li>
<li>Identify and analyze metrics to track process performance and monitor the use of the metrics.</li>
<li>Analyze, evaluate, and prepare program briefs, reports, and correspondence.</li>
<li>Provide oral and written communications to interface with commands and other activities across the Army acquisition community.</li>
<li>Review and update charters, MOAs, MOUs, and organizational charts to enable more effective communication and organization for the program and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Develop, document, and perform ad hoc queries of data, as requested.</li>
<li>Manage tasks within the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) tool (previously known as Task Management Tool (TMT)) to completion and report on</li>
<li>Assist leadership in planning and executing agile reporting, to include developing dashboards and reporting metrics, utilizing the development tools (e.g., ADO) to the maximum extent possible.</li>
<li>Prepares recommendations with sufficient rationale to advise leadership decisions that enable program success; understands requirements governance, definition, traceability (end-to-end process), validation, and prioritization.</li>
<li>Contributes to resolving conflicting requirements; Assists in defining performance requirements related to business process implementation and system performance.</li>
<li>Plans, coordinates, and supports the execution of stakeholder engagements and mission support activities such as Agile Planning Interval (PI) events, Changes of Charters, and All Hands meetings.</li>
<li>Assist with policy/SOP writing/review in accordance with AR-25-50.</li>
<li>Assist in the management of IPPS-A INC2s knowledge centers or portals in SharePoint and MS Teams</li>
<li>Provides coordination and travel support for PM/DPM; to include processing travel activities via the Defense Travel System</li>
<li>Maintains and prepares records of leave, alert rosters, timecards, travel, training, and other organizational activities</li>
<li>Conducts research; prepares statistical reports; handles information requests; and prepares correspondence</li>
<li>Receives visitors; arranges/schedules meetings and provides conference room/teleconference support as needed</li>
<li>Manages leadership calendars using MS Office 365 products</li>
<li>Prepares a variety of documents, such as correspondence, forms, reports, statistical tables, spreadsheets, etc., using advanced skills and knowledge of word processing software</li>
<li>Advises writers on matters of style, syntax, and usage to improve the general quality and effectiveness of communications, including AR 25-50</li>

<ul><li>Masters degree, or bachelors with equivalent years of work experience</li>
<li>10+ years of relevant work experience (operations or business management support)</li>
<li>Experience with agile project management and techniques, and contractor quality and performance management</li>

<ul><li>Shall have proven interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.</li>
