Job Overview
Cherish Hospice is seeking a Community Liaison/Marketer in the Fort Wayne/Allen county area.
The Marketing Representative will play a vital role in generating referrals by establishing and nurturing relationships with physicians, hospitals, long-term care facilities, independent and assisted living communities, and other local resources. This role involves interacting with discharge planners, case managers, and families at designated facilities.
Community Liaison/Marketer Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, discharge planners, personal care homes, etc.</li><li>
Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to promote community recognition, enhance census growth, and increase referrals.</li><li>
Track Referral trends, monitor development and identify key target marketing opportunities.</li><li>
Plan and organize marketing events and informational sessions.</li><li>
Educate stakeholders about hospice care.</li><li>
Oversee initial patient consent for hospice care and ensure documentation is processed correctly.</li><li>
Attend weekly meetings to discuss successes, competitor insights, and future growth opportunities.</li><li>
Meet quotas and/or expectations set by the Director of Business Development.</li></ul>
Community Liaison/Marketer Qualifications:<ul><li>
Strong, effective communication skills, and responsiveness to client needs.</li><li>
Ability to build personal relationships quickly.</li><li>
Effective leadership, analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills.</li><li>
Valid driver's license with insured vehicle and reliable transportation.</li><li>
Deep compassion and integrity in patient care and adherence to hospice philosophy.</li><li>
Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience in hospice or healthcare.</li><li>
Associate or bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred but not required</li></ul>
Job Type: Full-time 
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday 
Work Location: In person/On the road
