</div></div></div><p><b>JOB SUMMARY </b>: Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel and gasoline engines, chassis, electrical systems, drive trains, brakes, and suspensions. Utilize specialized software and tools to address electronic-controlled vehicle issues. Inspect and maintain wheelchair lifts and heating/cooling systems, ensuring safety compliance. Provide occasional bus driving services during scheduled work hours as operational needs require. Enter accurate work orders and pursue certifications. Operate in diverse environments with physical demands, fostering continuous improvement and professional growth.

</p><p><b>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS </b>: <i>The minimum prerequisites of formal education, professional work experience, certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, trainings, and other criteria that a candidate must fulfill to be considered for a position. It is essential that certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, and trainings are fulfilled, valid, and not expired.

</li><li>High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma
</li><li>Three (3) years of mechanic, shop foreman, or fleet supervisor experience
</li><li>Must be willing to seek continued education in the field
</li><li>Must meet insurability requirements of the Colorado Self Insurance Pool
</li><li>Colorado driver's license
</li><li>Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with P and S endorsement within 1 year of hire
</li><li>Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certification within 1 year of hire
</li><li>Air brake certification within Two (2) year of hire
</li><li>Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Technician Inspector license within one (2) year of hire
</li><li>Ability to accurately enter work orders into Fleet Software Program
