What you'll do:
As a Dental Assistant you will work to enhance the daily operations of the clinic by providing excellent care and communication to our patients. As a Dental Assistant you will:<ul><li>
Prepares, sterilizes, disinfects, and maintains dental equipment, instruments, and supplies</li><li>
Collects and records patient health histories and x-rays</li><li>
Ensures patient comfort during dental procedures</li><li>
Completes charting of treatment information in the patients' dental notes from the doctor as directed</li><li>
Assist doctor in management of medical and dental emergencies</li><li>
Delivers postoperative and general oral care instructions to patient</li><li>
Maintains infection control procedures, patient privacy, and professional interactions with patients and staff</li><li>
Assist administrative team with customer service functions</li></ul>
Education and Experience:<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>
Minimum of one year of dental assisting experience required</li><li>
Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program or dental assistant experience preferred but not required</li><li>
Previous customer service or office experience</li><li>
Proficiency or the ability to become proficient within 90 days in dental terminology and dental software for charting, treatment planning, clinical notes, etc.</li><li>
Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
Foster a positive attitude and be a team player</li></ul>
Patient Care Hours: 
 
Monday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
