Financial Analyst II

Your role in our success:

This role will serve as the day-to-day contact and key financial partner to the management team, driving insights that improve the understanding of financial results and the ability to forecast future periods more accurately. The incumbent will leverage their understanding of critical financial systems &amp; reporting tools (ie. SAP, UI, Power BI) to provide strong financial analysis, models and reports. The Financial Analyst II must be able to present data analysis and interpretation in clear, compelling ways to facilitate decision making by finance and operations personnel.

What you'll be working on:
<ul>
<li>Supports the production of a monthly reporting package with variance analysis against prior year, budget, and forecast, including operating expense, headcount, capital and various KPIs.</li>
<li>Performs detailed analysis of cost allocations and report on changes and trends from budget and period-over-period results.</li>
<li>Creates and analyzes moderately complex monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately and completely.</li>
<li>Performs moderately complex financial forecasting, financial modeling and trend analysis.</li>
<li>Captures and reports key performance indicators, highlights notable trends and analyze causes of unexpected variances.</li>
<li>Conducts thorough research of historical financial data to analyze trends to support executive leadership decisions.</li>
<li>Prepares executive-level presentations and reports that translate complex data into key points and actionable insights.</li>
<li>Completes special financial studies, e.g. cost of service studies, return on equity, capital structure, and depreciation.</li>
<li>Maintains &amp; updates all financial forecast data (expense, capital, headcount etc.) in the planning systems (UI, PowerPlan, SAP) of record based on feedback from shared service stakeholders.</li>
<li>Prepares and presents various executive level dashboards with critical financial data and KPIs.</li>
<li>Performs all other duties as assigned by Manager, Financial Analysis.</li>
</ul>
Who you are:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related quantitative field.</li>
<li>
Three (3) years&rsquo; business planning, financial analysis or other related finance experience required.
</li>
<li>Regular Driver&rsquo;s License</li>
<li>Proficient knowledge in basic accounting knowledge (accruals, GAAP, etc.)</li>
<li>Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner.</li>
<li>Proficient knowledge in the Microsoft Office suite: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.</li>
<li>Knowledge of the Epicor suite or related software.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Utilities International Financial software or related.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Business Objects or related software.</li>
<li>High level of initiative and be able to be self-directed.</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize multiple requests simultaneously.</li>
<li>Ability to seek efficiencies in all areas to create overall process improvement.</li>
<li>Ability to respond creatively to unique situations.</li>

Senior Manager, Meter Technology

Location: Hybrid within Service Area States with Periodic Travel Required

Your role in our success:

This position will lead a team which has a blend of technology and operational aspects of metering that require the candidate to lead the adoption and implementation of technologies impacting meter technology servicing CHPK customers.

Who you are:
<ul>
<li>You are leading a team which has a blend of technology and operational aspects of metering that require the candidate to lead the adoption and implementation of technologies impacting meter technology servicing CHPK customers.</li>
<li>Partner with operational groups to deliver solutions to better efficiency, compliance, and regulatory needs.</li>
<li>Partner with operational groups to ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule and budget by managing stakeholder expectations.</li>
<li>Collaborate with developer leads and business users to design, develop, and integrate user interfaces and services that meet business needs.</li>
<li>Account or management of IT professionals either as direct reports or sourced.</li>
<li>Account for translating business outcomes/expectations into clear technical requirements and execution plans.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary contact for operations while directing, solving, and addressing service and production issues.</li>
<li>Address meter read issues thru use of technology that is forward looking working with operations and other cross functional areas.</li>
<li>Adapt, lead, and participate in architecture reviews of solutions being proposed.</li>
</ul>
Who you are:
<ul>
<li>Experience delivering solutions/upgrades tied to meter upgrades going to AMI from AMR or Manual.</li>
<li>Good understanding of IT systems and processes.</li>
<li>Experience managing &quot;meter to cash&quot; process in the utility sector.</li>
<li>Experience working with field devices, field data capture, and an understanding of head end systems data flowing to MDM to Billing is a must</li>
<li>Strong strategic thinking skills</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field</li>
<li>Seven years&rsquo; experience in technology management</li>
<li>Regular Driver&rsquo;s License</li>
