Must possess a valid Armed Security Officer license in accordance with state/local regulations
</li><li>
Minimum of 2 years of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military preferred
</li><li>
Valid firearm permit and ability to demonstrate proficiency with assigned weapon
</li><li>
High School Diploma or GED required; additional security or criminal justice education a plus
</li><li>
Must pass a background check and drug screening
</li><li>
Strong verbal and written communication skills
</li><li>
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
</li><li>
Must be physically fit, able to stand or patrol for extended periods, and work in various environments
</li><li>
CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain) preferred
</li><li>
Must have reliable transportation and be punctual for all assigned shifts
</li></ul>
Duties:
<ul><li>
Monitor and Authorize the Arrival/Departure of Employees, Visitors, and Any Other individuals to Maintain Security Detail</li><li>
Conduct Regular Patrols of Designated Area by Foot and/or Company Vehicle</li><li>
Be Aware and Report Suspicious Activity</li><li>
Write Detailed Reports on Daily Activities/Incidents</li><li>
Communicate Effectively with Law Enforcement, Superior and Property Management as Needed</li><li>
Maintain High Visibility and Attentiveness to Detail</li><li>
Monitor CCTV and Alarm Systems</li><li>
Oversees daily security operations</li><li>
Serve as primary client contact for security matters</li><li>
Provide EXCELLENT Customer Service to ALL Individuals you encounter</li></ul>
