Chewie Boots Pet Care is hiring a reliable, animal-loving morning pet care employee to help with dog walks and pet care drop-in visits in Appleton, WI. This is an active, independent role that&rsquo;s perfect for an early riser who communicates well and takes pet safety seriously.Schedule<ul><li>Morning availability required Monday&ndash;Friday (some weekends/holidays a plus, if you want extra hours)</li><li>Flexible hours based on bookings</li><li>Most visits occur early mornings (generally between 7:00 AM&ndash;11:00 AM)</li><li>Minimum commitment: 6 months</li></ul>Pay &amp; Perks<ul><li>Starting pay: $12/hour (W-2 employee)</li><li>Paid drive time between visits (when traveling from one client to the next)</li><li>Tips: May be received if clients choose to tip (not guaranteed)</li><li>Raises: Based on performance, reliability, and quality of care</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Dog walking and potty breaks</li><li>Drop-in visits for pets (feeding, fresh water, playtime, companionship, litter box care)</li><li>Follow written care instructions and company safety procedures</li><li>Send visit updates after each visit (notes + photos)</li><li>Maintain professionalism in clients&rsquo; homes (secure entry/exit, respect property, follow schedules)</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Ability to commit to at least 6 months</li><li>Comfortable working outdoors in all Wisconsin weather</li><li>Confident handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments</li><li>Strong reliability, communication, and attention to detail</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license + reliable transportation (travel between client homes)</li><li>Ability to walk/stand for extended periods; ability to lift up to ~40 lbs</li><li>Background check and/or reference check may be required</li></ul>Preferred (Not Required)<ul><li>Professional pet care experience (pet sitting, dog daycare, vet clinic, shelter, grooming, etc.)</li><li>Pet CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)</li><li>Availability for occasional midday/evening fill-ins</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>On-the-job training</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Are you available weekday mornings (Mon&ndash;Fri) consistently?</li><li>Can you commit to this job for at least 6 months?</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Driver's License (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
