We are looking for Certified Flight Instructors who strive for excellence and are motivated by our thriving performance-driven culture.If you are an energetic and patient CFI interested in sharing your passion with others, then we would love to speak with you today.Please email your resume and cover letter to Info@chicagoexecutiveflightschool.com and follow-up with a phone call to 1-800-901-0730 Ext. 154.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct ground school sessions to educate students on aviation theory, regulations, and safety protocols.</li><li>Provide in-flight instruction to students, guiding them through practical applications of flying techniques.</li><li>Develop lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and learning styles.</li><li>Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback for improvement.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations during training sessions.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Must be able to safely operate a Cessna 150 while meeting the required weight and height limitations for safe flight operations (maximum 180 lbs and under 6 feet in height)</li><li>Valid Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or relevant authority</li><li>Extensive knowledge of aircraft systems, airframe mechanics, and aviation safety standards</li><li>Strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) related to flight training and certification processes</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to teach complex concepts clearly and engagingly</li><li>Ability to deliver public speaking engagements confidently in both classroom and one-on-one settings</li><li>Prior experience in aircraft maintenance or technical roles is advantageous but not required</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Referral program</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do currently you live in Illinois (within 1 hour commute?)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Wheeling, IL 60090 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
