Together, Chicago Neighborhood Market and Goods is redefining grab-and-go retail at O&rsquo;Hare.Join the Love From brand and be part of a fast-growing, mission-driven team dedicated to social impact and delivering excellent traveler experiences.This company follows all EEOC guidance and federal and state laws following background screening.Love Local Like We Do.Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Interacting with customers, giving them product suggestions and communicating features and benefits of the items.</li><li>Completing all the assigned tasks by the manager.</li><li>Ringing sales accurately and efficiently on the cash register.</li><li>Enthusiastically greet each customer upon entry into the store.</li><li>Maintaining displays in the store and ensuring that they comply with company standards.</li><li>Maintaining visual presentation and recovery standards throughout shift by assisting in folding and straightening projects.</li><li>Assist with the processing of daily deliveries and properly placing the merchandise on the sales floor or back stock, as directed by the manager.</li><li>Contribute positively to create a fun, upbeat, friendly environment within the store for both customers and fellow associates.</li><li>Opening and closing the store, counting down tills, preparing deposits and performing other closing procedures.</li></ul>Skills and Specifications<ul><li>Should possess strong verbal communication skills.</li><li>Should have good interpersonal skills for interacting with customers.</li><li>Should be a team player and have the ability to meet assigned tasks and goals.</li></ul>Education and Qualifications<ul><li>High school degree, diploma, or a GED equivalent qualification from a certified institution.</li><li>Food Manager and Sanitation Certificate Required, or able to obtain upon hire</li><li>Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.</li><li>Ability to stand for long periods of time (minimum of 4 hours).</li></ul>Pay: From $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Are you willing to obtain a valid food manager and sanitation certificate upon hire?</li><li>Do you have a valid Food Manager and Sanitation Certificate?</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Chicago, IL 60666 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Chicago, IL 60666: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
