Job Summary:
The Pipe, Values &amp; Fittings Specialist will work closely with our local sales professionals as well as with our corporate marketing manager in a team approach to enhance our position within this important part of our overall business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Analyze , source, quote, and implement new business opportunities in the pipe, valves and fittings market</li><li>
Work closely with sales and marketing managers to obtain new business</li><li>
Assist sales staff with product sourcing</li><li>
Assist purchasing with current lead times and pricing</li></ul> 
Position Requirements:<ul><li>
Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial sales or customer service, with a college degree preferred. Recent college graduates with a degree in sales, marketing or a related field will also be considered</li><li>
Good data entry skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office</li><li>
Strong knowledge base in sourcing and market trends would be a definite plus</li></ul> 
Working Environment/physical demands:<ul><li>
Office environment/no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.</li><li>
Partial exposure to warehouse/ shop floor</li><li>
Walking, standing, and bending on a regular basis</li><li>
Lifting up to 40lbs on a regular basis.</li></ul>
