<div><div><b>ABOUT CORAZON</b><br>
CPLC Coraz&oacute;n is a client-centered center with bilingual staff where all cultures are welcome and celebrated. We have been providing Substance Abuse treatment through our CARF Accredited Level II Residential Treatment Center since 1983. The 30- to 60-day structured treatment program incorporates best practices targeted to the clients enrolled in the program. CPLC Coraz&oacute;n features a range of substance abuse services, including group, individual, family, and couples therapy, in addition to nightly community 12-step support groups. Our 65-bed, ADA compliant residential facility provides all meals, an on-site laundry facility free of charge, a basketball court, and a garden. We offer holistic health techniques including yoga, tai chi, chi gong, and sweat lodge.</div>
<div></div><div><b>HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?</b></div>
<div>In this role, you&rsquo;ll provide integrated health and support services, coordinate care with community providers, and empower clients through education and compassionate guidance. You&rsquo;ll play a vital part in promoting wellness by assisting with admissions, supporting medication management, and responding to emergencies with professionalism and care. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where flexibility, collaboration, and a commitment to client success are key. Occasional travel and alternative hours, including evenings and weekends, are required to ensure clients receive the support they need when they need it most.</div>
<div><ul><li><b>Clinical Documentation &amp; Care Coordination</b>: Complete all required nursing documentation, assist with client admissions, and coordinate integrated care with community providers.</li>
<li><b>Health Education &amp; Medication Support</b>: Provide education on mental and medical health, medication effects, and assist clients with self-administration of prescribed and OTC medications.</li>
<li><b>Emergency Response &amp; Compliance</b>: Respond promptly to medical emergencies, follow incident reporting procedures, and maintain active LPN licensure along with First Aid and CPR certifications.</li>
<li><b>Program Participation &amp; Client Support</b>: Engage in program activities to enhance client care and assist with scheduling medical or provider appointments as needed.</li>
<li><b>Flexible Hours</b>: Alternative work hours (including evenings, nights, and weekends) to meet program and client needs.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT LPN?</b></p>
<ul><li>You are a registered LPN, possessing clinical expertise, crisis response and de-escalation skills. (BONUS points for Spanish/English bilingual skills!)</li>
<li>You are committed to working with this population - justice-impacted men, ages 18 and older.</li>
<li>You have empathy and integrity in all your interactions with clients, teammates, leadership and community partners - you can work with anyone from all kinds of backgrounds. You are highly collaborative, team-oriented and proactive.</li>
<li>You are adaptable and resourceful and enjoy working in a highly active environment that can evolve quickly.</li>

<ul><li>Have a current license by the Arizona State Board of Nursing as a LPN</li>
<li>Minimum 1 year experience performing medical duties</li>

<p>As part of CPLC's Community Schools program, the Girls Leadership Academy of Arizona (GLAAZ) is the only tuition-free all-girls high school in Arizona. <p><b>HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?</b></p>
<ul><li>You will provide quality instruction pertinent to the applicable area, as well as provide extensive knowledge of cooperative learning strategies, differentiation, and small group instruction.

<li>You will maintain a strong classroom presence and develop daily, and unit lesson plans that are thoughtful, goal-oriented, and aligned with the curriculum and the AZ State Standards.</li>
<li>You will master the necessary content knowledge and skills to successfully teach assigned content area(s) and grade level(s)

<li>You are excellent at communicating with students, parents and staff</li>

<li>You are organized and detail oriented to be able to maintain accurate student records including progress reports and report cards.</li>

<p><b>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES</b></p>
<p><b>Education /Background</b><b>:</b></p>
<ul><li>Bachelor or Masters degree in education or content area required</li>
<li>Arizona Teaching certification required</li>
<li>Comprehensive knowledge of the AZ Standards</li>
<li>Must possess a valid Class 1 or Class 2 Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety
</li><li>Willingness to collaborate with colleagues in planning for academic improvement in academic areas other than your own, as needed
</li><li>Willingness to teach multiple grades and subject levels
</li><li>Willingness to differentiate instruction
</li><li>Willingness to oversee/ advise extracurricular activities (student clubs, intramural sports, music instruction, etc.)
</li><li>Willingness to work with students before or after school to support their academic growth
</li><li>Experience utilizing community experts and community resources to enhance content instruction preferred
</li><li>Experience building student and parent relationships to improve student achievement</li>
<li>Experience working with an underserved student population</li>
