ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
<ul><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.
</li><li>02+ years of experience with eLearning design and development and adult learning theory.
</li><li>Experience with envisioning, designing, and developing interactive media elements at an advanced IMI 2 and basic IMI3 level.
</li><li>Demonstrated utilization of ADDIE for complex course design and development.
</li><li>Working knowledge of Adobe Captivate
</li><li>Demonstrated ability with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
</li><li>The ability to present complex information clearly to a disbursed online audience.
</li><li>Strong writing and oral communication skills.
</li><li>Strong presentation, facilitation, interpersonal, and client interaction skills
</li><li>Meticulous attention to detail, quality assurance, and editing skills.
</li><li>The ability to prioritize and make good decisions with minimal supervision.
</li><li>Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
</li><li>Prior US Navy or other US Military experience (preferred).
</li><li>Experience working in Agile teams with process management tools like Jira
</li><li>Familiarity with US Navy AIM II Learning Object Module (LOM)
</li></ul>KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

<ul><li>Works under moderate supervision. Works with subject matter experts, internal and external stakeholders, project and program managers to design and create training products.
</li></ul><ul><li>Assists with designing and developing instructional approaches and/or strategies to meet training requirements. Reviews products throughout analyses, design and development to ensure sensible course flow and compliance with style guidelines and standards.
</li></ul><ul><li>Helps to develop appropriate training objectives and test methods and designs instructionally valid and engaging training materials for a variety of delivery methods, including instructor-led and computer-based, web-based, e-learning and mobile training. Ensures integrity of task analysis, training requirements, training hierarchies, instructional materials, and evaluation plans.
</li></ul><ul><li>Researches and identifies data sources for instructional material development and additional information needed for supporting instructional materials. Compiles training and media requirements.
</li></ul><ul><li>Assists with designs and develops computer-based training, web-based training, electronic performance support systems and other technology-based learning solutions.
</li></ul><ul><li>Participates in visual design, prototyping, usability testing, and evaluation and fosters design innovation. Develops flow diagrams, story boards and presentations.
</li></ul>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Instructional Design or related field and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience or combination of education and experience.

</li><li>Proficient in the latest versions of graphic software programs and familiar with SCORM and Section 508 compliance.
</li><li>Knowledge of the principles of graphic design to produce the highest level of production for print, online publishing, and multimedia, etc.
</li><li>Knowledgeable in color illustration to create custom designs.
</li><li>Knowledge of graphic design software applications (e.g., Adobe Photo Shop, Illustrator, Corel Draw, Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, etc.) to produce multi-media, digital imaging and online publishing projects.
</li><li>Extensive knowledge of the elements of design (i.e., line, shape, texture, space, size, value, and color, balance/symmetry, rhythm/repetition, emphasis, unity, movement, proportion/scale; page layout, color theory, and typography) in order to produce or edit a high-quality print or multimedia product
</li><li>Basic knowledge of the procedures for creating traditional and/or electronic files for output for single and multicolor publications.
</li><li>Skilled in time management to multi-task and meet production deadlines.
</li><li>Skilled in team-building techniques and principles to maintain organize team participation and meet production deadlines.
</li><li>Skilled in digitally retouching images to enhance or soften photographs and/or graphics.

<ul><li>Develops a wide range of media, including photography, animations, audio, digital video, still image, 3D simulations, schematics, diagrams, 2D and 3D graphical representations, avatars, and other graphical representations as required to produce courseware.
</li><li>Prepares graphics and illustrations from concept drawings, sketches, models, and/or written and verbal instructions.
</li><li>Assists in the analysis of training requirements and media requirements to determine best approach to visually accomplish desired instructional approaches/strategies.
</li><li>Ability to offer solutions to Instructional Designers and conceptualize and produce quality graphics based on script/storyboards.
</li><li>Reviews requirements for digital photo needs, assists with creating shoot lists and takes necessary photos to support the design and development of interactive multimedia courseware. Experienced with working with a variety of digital photography equipment, editing software, file formats, and printers.
</li><li>Works independently to travel to locations and work with teams onsite to coordinate photo shoots. Ensures that all necessary photos are clear and have appropriate lighting.
</li><li>Performs a variety of processing activities of raw photographs, including editing and digitizing. Follow naming conventions for storage and easy retrieval.
</li></ul>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
