<div>GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY: Provide exceptional food and beverage service that exceeds the Guest's expectations. Create a memorable experience for Guests using refined guest service skills. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>
Follows Steps of Service and Timing Guidelines, maintain proper server etiquette, and approach all guests with positive, courteous attitude always as outlined in the service module.</li><li>
Exhibit complete knowledge of food and beverage offerings.</li><li>
Knows and is responsible for Engaging, Merchandising, Excellence &amp; Proficiency, and Teamwork standards.</li><li>
Complete all required set-up under the direction of the management team including but not limited to section and room detailing prior to opening.</li><li>
Ensure food/beverages are served at the proper temperature with correct presentation.</li><li>
Ensure guest satisfaction throughout dining experience.</li><li>
Maintain side work duties throughout shift. Work clean.</li><li>
Water, clear, reset and otherwise maintain personal section. Assist other servers and mixologists with the same tasks when able.</li><li>
Responsible for delivering all food and beverage to personal section. Responsible for helping to deliver food and beverage to team member&rsquo;s sections when possible.</li><li>
Provide Service Recovery at all times regarding guest and co-worker interactions.</li><li>
Complete all assigned closing duties; as defined and/or when assigned by a manager.</li><li>
Will check out with manager before clocking out to ensure competition of daily job duties</li><li>
Perform any other duties deemed necessary by management.</li></ul>
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Reliable in attendance and punctuality, uses proper time clock and sign in/out procedures.</li><li>
Maintain the highest in uniform and grooming standards by adhering to both company and departmental uniform standards.</li><li>
Knowledge of Chihuly Garden and Glass policies and procedures.</li><li>
Knowledge of Fire/Safety/Life procedures.</li><li>
Promote a positive and professional attitude to all internal and external guests.</li></ul>
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:<ul><li>
Must have a minimum of three-year food serving experience in a high volume, full-service environment.</li><li>
Must have extensive knowledge of food and beverage including wine and food pairing and suggestive selling techniques. Will be required to pass food and beverage questionnaires at 90% accuracy.</li><li>
Excellent grooming and communication skills necessary. Requires the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.</li><li>
Must have a valid Washington State Class 12 or Class 13 Alcohol Service Permit, and a valid Washington State Food Handler&rsquo;s Permit</li><li>
The ability to work well in a team-based environment and maintain a professional demeanor.</li><li>
Walking, standing, reaching, and lifting (30 to 50 lbs) entire shift. Must be able to lift 35-50 lbs over one shoulder using large oval tray. Typical shift is approximately 8-10 hours.</li></ul>

Hourly Rate: $21.30 - $21.30 / hour + tips

<div>Center Art LLC, managed by the Space Needle LLC, is partnering with Chihuly Studio to operate the Chihuly Garden and Glass Exhibition on the Seattle Center grounds next to the Space Needle.
GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
The Host supports Center Art&rsquo;s organization mission, vision and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence, competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, personalization, accountability and ownership.
The Host is responsible for maintaining and controlling an even flow of guests seated in the dining room. Responsible for seat assignment of reservations and walk-ins. Create a memorable experience for guests using excellent guest service skills. Have a clear understanding of job specific standards and meet these expectations on a daily basis.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>
Promote and role model a positive and professional attitude to all team members and Chihuly Exhibition guests.</li><li>
Provide a warm and welcoming environment. You are the first and last impression.</li><li>
Processes and confirms all incoming reservation requests via phone and e-mail.</li><li>
Maximize reservation and walk-in potential without exceeding standards for number of tables per server.</li><li>
Seat all parties with reservations on time and seat walk-ins no later than quoted wait time.</li><li>
Maintain guest flow of the Bar to avoid over seating service team.</li><li>
Recognize team member strengths and seat at appropriate intervals to maintain service standards.</li><li>
Direct greeters to work in an expeditious fashion.</li><li>
Utilizing reservations software to quickly plan and re-plan seating throughout the meal period.</li><li>
Ensure that special arrangements (cakes, flowers, bottles of wine, VIPs, special billing procedures, etc.) are communicated to the server and MOD.</li><li>
Assign tables for reservations and walk-ins in an efficient manner while maintaining proper seating intervals.</li><li>
Provide greeters with table assignments.</li><li>
Provide excellent guest service at all times, welcome guest when greeters are out of lobby.</li><li>
Never leave the desk unattended while guests are in the Bar, unless relieved by a manager.</li><li>
Thank guests and provide closing comments (thank you for dining with us, have nice day or evening, etc&hellip;) to Bar guests and show our guest the exit flow to stand behind the ropes.</li><li>
Plan large parties in accordance with flow of dining room.</li><li>
Communicate with Attractions/Facilities departments regarding use of elevator, maintenance and safety issues.</li><li>
Maintain a professional attitude of cheerfulness, patience, and sincerity with our external and internal guests.</li><li>
Effectively control situations involving angry guests, and provide service recovery that exceeds the guest&rsquo;s expectations.</li><li>
Effectively control situations involving intoxicated guests and execute the proper procedures in handling these guests.</li><li>
Effectively handle encounters with international guests and non-English speaking guests to ensure the same high quality service standards.</li><li>
Perform any other duties deemed necessary by Bar Management</li></ul>
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
