</p><p>The HR Generalist will be responsible for acting as a dedicated customer service one-stop shop for designated Programs partnering with Programs and employees in the areas of staffing, employee relations, training, compliance, benefits administration, wellness and HRIS.</p><p><b>
Essential Job Duties:</b></p><div><ul><li>
Ensure program licensing and regulatory requirements related to staffing and HR are met and maintained.</li><li>
Facilitate the full cycle of employment for program staff.</li><li>
Assist with management of employee relations including addressing employee concerns, investigations and documentation.</li><li>
Guides Program Leaders on the application of the corrective action process, Performance Improvement Plans (PIP&rsquo;s) as well as interpreting and application of company policies.</li><li>
Works with assigned department to develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet current and anticipated needs including advertising strategy and staffing agency relationships, to identify and recruit qualified candidates.</li><li>
Ensure proper screening and onboarding for volunteers and interns.</li><li>
Responsible for benefits administration and support.</li><li>
Provide regularly scheduled opportunities for staff to learn about mental health, wellness, and health education.</li><li>
Facilitating program staff appreciation and recognition efforts.</li><li>
Develops advertising strategies and recruitment sources to identify and recruit qualified candidates.</li><li>
Facilitates the Onboarding Process-Initiates and coordinates all required documentation to complete the employment and new hire process including background checks, all compliance requirements and ensures Pre-Hire Checklist and New Hire Checklist audit logs are secured and updated regularly.</li><li>
Responsible for data input and data integrity for the HRIS platform.</li></ul></div><div></div><ul><li>
Participates in company-wide Human Resource projects, taking project lead or other roles as assigned.</li><li>
Performs other duties as required.</li><li>
Participates as an active, contributing member of the Program attending onsite meetings.</li></ul><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Training, Education, Experience Requirements:</b></h1><ul><li>
BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.</li><li>
Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a human resource generalist role.</li><li>
Requires knowledge of human resource management, principles and practices and practical knowledge of employment law.</li><li>
PHR or SPHR certification is desirable.</li><li>
Demonstrated critical thinking and big picture perspective in order to resolve challenges.</li><li>
Self-motivated, well organized, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.</li><li>
Demonstrate high sense of urgency in fulfilling responsibilities.</li><li>
Possess good judgement and ability to make timely and sound decisions.</li><li>
Able to drive to Program site and be onsite two days at Phoenix and two days at Mesa location.</li><li>
Must be at least 21 years of age</li><li>
Must possess or able to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office software products (Outlook, Word, Excel).</li><li>
Able to display verbal and written communication skills that meet the requirements of position.</li></ul></div>
