IntroductionChild in Need Institute (CINI) has been implementing/facilitating different programs to demonstrate models in improving quality of lives of children, adolescent and women in need. CINI also provides technical support to different State Governments and at National level for strengthening existing services and build up capacities of personnel working at different layers. CINI&rsquo;s core model is based on CINI method that promotes a rights-based convergence approach which has so far attracted the attention of policy makers and other different actors of development sector, and which has proven to be an effective design to promote local level solutions for improving care and protection of Children.About the ProjectChild in Need Institute (CINI) is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of children, adolescents, and women facing adversity. In collaboration with the Azim Premji Foundation, we are embarking on a significant initiative aimed at improving the lives of the youngest members of our society. At the heart of this initiative is the Rural Cr&egrave;che Initiative, which seeks to uplift the nutritional status and development milestones by improving their access to nutrition, health and early childhood development interventions for children aged between 7 months and 3 years.We are dedicated to providing universal access to cr&egrave;ches for children aged 7 months to 3 years in Simdega, Jharkhand, regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds. Our approach includes holistic support, including supplementary feeding, early childhood development programs, and facilitating access to essential entitlements crucial for children's growth and development. Early intervention is crucial, targeting growth faltering, underweight, and wasted children within this age group and thorough follow-up for their well-being. Through this initiative, we aspire to encourage nurturing environments where every child can grow well and realize their full potential.Age: 25 - 48 YearsExperience/Competencies:<ul><li>Commerce graduate with 3 Years of experience of handling NGO books of accounts.</li><li>Sound knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.</li><li>Hands-on experience of using accounting software such as Tally or QuickBooks.</li><li>Knowledge of statutory laws about Income Tax and FCRA.</li><li>Procurement &amp; Inventory Management.</li><li>Logistics &amp; Distribution,</li><li>Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.</li><li>Analytical skills.</li><li>Experience of handling audit independently.</li></ul>Qualification: Graduate or Postgraduate in CommerceLocation: Simdega, JharkhandJob Description:1. Comply with the financial policy and regulation of the organization and the Foundation.2. Manage all accounting transactions and update the books of accounts regularly.3. Conduct budget variance analysis and prepare budget forecast.4. Prepare and share financial reports with the Foundation on time5. Handle monthly and annual closing of books of accounts.6. Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statement.7. Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.8. Prepare the balance sheet.9. Audit financial transactions and documents.10. Timely filing of annual tax returns.11. Conduct needs assessment for preparing list of assets and materials to be procured and purchase of items as per the organisational policy at the earliest.12. Record all assets in the asset register and materials in the stock register immediately after procurement.13. Timely and cost-effective distribution of the materials purchased to its desired locations.14. Ensure the quality check of anthropometric instruments every quarter and undertake repair and maintenance of assets.15. Conduct regular monitoring of cr&egrave;che activities.Expected travel: Need Based to CINI State Office, Head Office and other location as per project need.
