Children's Dentistry of Knoxville is looking to hire a Part-Time Dental Assistant who is excited about a fun and rewarding career in the Pediatric Dental field! This position will be scheduled to work Tuesdays and Fridays from 7:50 am-4:30 pm at our Farragut office.

<li>Previous Oral Surgery experience a plus! 
</li></ul>RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Assist the dentist during generalized pediatric dental procedures, including general anesthesia.</li>
<li>Clean the patient&rsquo;s teeth.</li>
<li>Fluoride application</li>
<li>Take, expose and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic).</li>
<li>Provide hygiene and diet education.</li>
<li>Take impressions.</li>
<li>Schedule follow-up exams.</li>
<li>Review schedule to make sure appointments are scheduled appropriately.</li>
<li>Set-up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms.</li>
<li>Parents consults-discuss treatment plans.</li>
<li>Clean and sterilize instruments.</li>
<li>Lab work.</li>
<li>Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area.</li>
<li>Infection control &amp; maintenance of OSHA guidelines.</li>
<li>Participate in marketing endeavors</li>
<li>Write letters to be sent to referrals.</li>
</ul>
