Children’s Land early childhood education center is looking for a Kindergarten Teacher who is passionate
 
about working with children and can help maintain a fun welcoming environment for all children. We are
 
looking for a well-qualified individual who understands child development and can nurture children's
 
talents and help them achieve academic and social emotional goals.
 
Job Description: 
<ul>
<li>Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment.</li>
<li>Establish and enforce rules and procedures for behavior and safety.</li>
<li>Develop and implement lesson plans that foster academic, social, and emotional growth.</li>
<li>Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles.</li>
<li>Integrate play-based learning and hands-on activities into the curriculum.</li>
<li>Monitor and assess the developmental progress of each child.</li>
<li>Provide individualized support and instruction to meet the diverse needs of all children.</li>
<li>Encourage children’s curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills.</li>
<li>Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child’s progress and any concerns.</li>
<li>Utilize Brightwheel for daily communication with parents.</li>
<li>Plan and participate in parent-teacher conferences and other family engagement activities.</li>
<li>Collaborate with families to support the child’s learning and development at home.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.</li>
<li>Ensure that all materials and resources are safe, appropriate, and readily accessible to children.</li>
<li>Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in</li>
</ul>
early childhood education.
 
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with colleagues and share insights and strategies for effective teaching.</li>
<li>Implement positive behavior support strategies and interventions.</li>
<li>Address behavioral issues promptly and effectively, working with parents and other staff as needed.</li>
<li>Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of children.</li>
<li>Administer first aid and handle emergencies as necessary.</li>
<li>Work closely with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive educational</li>
</ul>
environment.
 
<ul>
<li>Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of center-wide initiatives.</li>
</ul>
Education, Skills, and Experience required: 
<ul>
<li>Associates Degree in ECE or Bachelor’s degree</li>
<li>Experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting</li>
<li>Team oriented</li>
<li>Strong communication skills</li>
<li>Reliable and consistent</li>
<li>Patient with children</li>
</ul>
