The Opportunity</b></p><p>
We're looking for a strategic communicator to build something from the ground up. This is a <b>newly created role</b> where you'll help establish the foundation for HR communications at Children's Health&mdash;defining how we connect with, inform, and engage our HR team for years to come.</p><p>

What You'll Do</b></p><p><b>
Own HR Communications Strategy</b></p><ul><li>
Design and launch a leadership newsletter to keep our HR team aligned on priorities, initiatives, and organizational strategy</li><li>
Develop an overarching annual communications strategy for employee well-being and benefits programs</li><li>
Create clear, engaging content including written communications, presentations, FAQs, intranet pages, and collateral</li></ul><p><b>
Drive Change &amp; Engagement</b></p><ul><li>
Lead change management communications as we evolve and grow toward our new pediatric campus</li><li>
Translate complex HR topics&mdash;from benefits and compensation to organizational priorities&mdash;into digestible, meaningful messages for diverse audiences</li><li>
Partner with HR leaders to understand team needs and deliver communications that truly resonate</li></ul><p><b>
Build Relationships &amp; Influence</b></p><ul><li>
Collaborate with senior leaders and executives across the organization to align messaging and drive impact</li><li>
Establish strong partnerships with HR colleagues to stay ahead of initiatives and priorities</li><li>
Use data and feedback to continuously improve communication effectiveness</li></ul><p><b>
Lay the Groundwork for the Future</b></p><ul><li>
Create templates and standards that will guide HR communications for the next 5-10 years</li><li>
Launch engagement surveys and feedback mechanisms to understand what the team needs</li><li>
Take ownership of projects from concept to completion with creativity and independence</li></ul><p><b>
Qualifications</b></p><p><b>
Required Experience</b></p><ul><li><b>
5+ years of internal communications experience</b>, ideally including HR communications or change management</li><li><b>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree</b> in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li><li><b>
Exceptional writing skills</b> with the ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling narratives</li><li><b>
Change management expertise</b>&mdash;you've successfully guided teams through transitions and transformation</li><li><b>
Strategic mindset</b> balanced with hands-on execution ability
</li><li>Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and run projects from start to finish</li><li>
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels</li></ul><p><b>
Preferred Experience</b></p><ul><li>
Graduate degree or advanced certifications</li><li>
Healthcare or large organization experience
</li><li>Experience launching newsletters, leadership communications, or employee engagement campaigns</li></ul><p><b>
