Our care traffic control center (CTCC) is at the heart of the Children&rsquo;s Minnesota organization overseeing the operations of each hospital dispersed between three campuses. Our staff includes dedicated hospital nursing supervisors and staffing office personnel who work closely together as we continuously monitor each hospital&rsquo;s unit activity and staffing needs while maintaining the organizational core value of putting &ldquo;kids first.&rdquo; The CTCC department provides a distinctive opportunity for team members to lead through collaboration with each unit in prioritizing patient flow, triaging operational issues or clinical staffing areas of concern, and organizing overall daily staffing resources within one of the largest pediatric health systems in the United States. Position Summary 
 
The Hospital Nursing Supervisor (HNS) directs, organizes, plans and coordinates overall activities of the hospital involving a high degree of judgment, initiative, and leadership including the ability to anticipate and positively react to technical, organizational, and administrative issues during their assigned shifts. The HNS provides leadership, coordination and management of personnel, and assumes responsibility for hospital administrative functions Monday through Friday when management/administration is not in-house and 24 hours on weekends and holidays. The HNS maintains efficient utilization of nursing resources, working collaboratively with unit leadership, the resource management coordinators (RMCs), and charge nurses. The HNS plays a critical role in patient placement, the admission status process, and the facilitation of direct admissions during routine and surge situations. This individual is visible and available to clinical areas within all areas providing patient care to facilitate patient placement, collaboration with and among charge nurses, and evaluate current and potential staffing concerns. The HNS interprets administrative/departmental policy and procedures for all personnel and acts as an administrative liaison, clinical resource, and role model for staff. They are responsible for triaging operational issues or clinical areas of concern and alerting the Administrator On-Call (AOC), Patient Care Director On-Call (DOC), or Patient Care Manager On-Call (PCM-OC) when needed.
 
 
The HNS assists in the resolution of issues relating to physicians, patients, families and staff and performs investigations pertaining to incidents/occurrences during their shift as well as reporting to the on call leadership team. 
 
License/Certification/Registration:

Education: 
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree preferred</li><li>CPI or Behavioral Health Care &amp; Personal Safety Course within 6 months of hire
</li></ul> 
Experience:
 
<ul><li>3 to 5 years hospital-based nursing experience.</li><li>Nursing leadership experience in a hospital setting. Could include performance in managerial or supervisory roles as well as charge nurse, educator, and resource nurse roles.
</li><li>Utilization of electronic health record systems (e.g., Cerner). Experience with electronic bedboard and surgery scheduling a plus.</li></ul>

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee&rsquo;s scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. Department Overview 
We believe our well coordinated clinical care contributes to our outcomes that are among the best in the country. This position is part of a team that coordinates two International Rare Tumor Registries which are united in efforts to improve survival for children and adults facing these rare cancers. These registries focus on understanding what causes these rare tumors, how to find them earlier, and how to target and cure these tumors more effectively and with fewer long term side effects. 
 
The department at Children's of Minnesota provides care for children of all ages with all types of malignancies including brain tumors, solid tumors, and leukemia; and blood disorders such as sickle cell disease, bleeding disorders, and anemia. As the largest provider of services for children with cancer and bleeding disorders in the region, the Cancer and Blood Disorders program focuses on providing well-coordinated knowledge-driven clinical care. We participate in national and international research and are leaders in research on supportive care and quality of life for children with cancer and bleeding disorders.<div> 
Position Summary 
 
The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) serves as the project manager for assigned projects and works directly with the Research Program manager and Clinical Research Associates I &amp; II to coordinate and implement studies. 
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 
 
<ul><li>Organize and manage all aspects of assigned research activities and ensure compliance with study protocols and overall clinical research objectives</li><li>Contribute methodological and technical expertise in the design, implementation, analysis and reporting of research</li><li>Prepare regulatory submissions to the Institutional Review Board, and maintain compliance with all federal and local agencies in accordance with Good Clinical Practice guidelines</li><li>Provide support to the preparation and management of grants</li><li>Perform budget preparation and management, as needed</li><li>Facilitate and manage study-related communications (including, but not limited to communication with investigators, collaborators, regulatory bodies, and site monitors)</li><li>Proficiency at Interacting with patients and families for securing informed consent, scheduling research visits, and collection of data</li><li>Oversight of data collection and entry processes</li><li>Manage personal career development and administrative tasks</li></ul>

</li><li>The CRC must be a detail-oriented person with strong writing, communication, and computer skills; (s)he must have the ability to manage multiple projects.</li></ul> 
Promotion to next higher level, typically Senior Clinical Research Coordinator (SCRC), is determined by the Clinical Research Program Manager through performance reviews that take into account both experience carrying out the department's job-related duties/tasks, as well as a demonstrated commitment to professionalism in carrying out those tasks in line with Children's values and organizational policies and procedures.

We are seeking .6 FTE Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join a busy pediatric rehabilitation medicine program. 
Our rehab department consists of over 150 physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, who work collaboratively with a pediatric physiatrist and physiatry nurse practitioner. Rehabilitation Services are provided at both our Minneapolis and St Paul Hospitals as well as six outpatient therapy clinics.
Children&rsquo;s Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine program brings together outpatient support for children with complex needs and dedicated inpatient consultative care to support the acute needs of hospitalized patients. Ambulatory clinics at Children&rsquo;s MN include primary care clinics that are the longest running Health Care Home in Minnesota for children with complex chronic health care needs; spina bifida clinic; NICU follow up clinics; and post-fetal (in utero) clinical care. Hospitalization efforts support a focus on tertiary- and quaternary-care, including a large oncology program, two level 3 NICUs, a pediatric CVICU and heart transplant program, two PICUs, level 1 pediatric surgery verification care, and pediatric level 1 trauma.
Position Description:
This individual will be responsible for managing complex patient care and ensuring the delivery of rehabilitation expertise to patients, families and other health care providers. This includes the evaluation of patients, in pediatric populations, with complex rehabilitation needs through outpatient and inpatient care. The Rehab APP will perform tasks independently and in collaboration with the rehabilitation care team.
APRN:<ul><li>
Graduate of an accredited Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program. Master&rsquo;s Degree required; Doctorate preferred.</li><li>
Current MN RN/APRN License.</li><li>
Nationally Board Certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with either the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)</li><li>
Current BLS certification.</li></ul>

Physician Assistant:<ul><li>
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program. Master&rsquo;s degree required; Doctorate preferred</li><li>
Physician Assistant: MN Physician Assistant License. National Certification required by NCCPA.
