Provides creative services (writing, editing, concept, design and/or layout, photography, new media development and coordination) and develops communication strategies, messages and designs in support of the Alabama Children's Hospital Foundation and Children's of Alabama assigned service lines or departmental accounts. Coordinates these communication activities in support of Children's of Alabama's strategic marketing and business initiatives.
Other information:
 
High level of communication and design skills and a strong business background necessary; experience in customer service, sales, working with physicians, research and market analysis highly desirable. Self-starting ability, leadership and problem solving skills, writing, organizational, communication, presentation, design and people skills required.
 
General office equipment. Personal computer and software related to communications production. Able to use Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Suite, In Design, Quark (other current design software programs) and Internet. Digital camera

SCM is responsible for generating and distributing timely and accurate information about Children's of Alabama. The department handles all of Children's public relations, media relations, public affairs, advertising, marketing and internal communications. The department also produces all printed materials for both on and off campus constituencies. Children's Strategic Communications and Marketing Department provides a wide range of services to meet the needs of both internal and external customers in a variety of areas. Some of the services available include: Media Relations Social Media Strategy Content Creation Marketing Strategy and Campaigns Employee Communications Photography and Audio/Video Productions Print/Material Development Web Development Internships

Senior Coordinator Graphic Design

Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, Mon-Fri Standard Days.
Summary: 
The Development Operations Financial Coordinator works with the entire Foundation staff to provide support performing donor gift management and financial duties. The individual in this role must have high level technical and time management skills, as well as be an independent worker who takes ownership of the projects assigned. They must be able to perform a wide variety responsibilities and special projects while maintaining consistent attention to detail.

Summary: 
Works under the supervision of licensed nursing staff to provide assistive care and communication for patients and their families in outpatient specialty clinics, as well as support for team members, professional and technical staff, and visitors. Provides safe, age-appropriate care and contributes to efficient clinic operations.<div>

The division of Pulmonary Medicine specializes in the treatment of patients with a variety of lung and sleep disorders. Specialty clinics include: General Pulmonary Medicine, Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis (CF), Technology Dependence/Home Ventilators, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD), Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD), and Sleep (including Behavioral Sleep Disorders, Snore, and CPAP/BiPAP management). Board Certified Pulmonologists, Academic Fellows, Residents and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners provide care in this department. Nurses, respiratory therapists, social workers, and nutritionists are also a part of the interdisciplinary team.</div>
