Job Summary:
The school-Age Supervisor plans and implements an educational program that inspires students to learn and grow, develop strong character skills, make healthy choices, allows for creative expression, is inclusive and provides homework/tutoring support. The school-age Supervisor provides safe transportation to students during camps and school sessions and operates as an AM Preschool Instructional Assistant during on-track sessions. Follows all requirements of Community Cares Licensing; along with our Local, State and Federal contracts.
Summary of essential job functions:
School-Age Supervisor:<ul><li>
Set-up and maintain engaging classroom environments following the SACERS tool</li><li>
Create and implement weekly, data-driven Lesson Plans that follow our CP template</li><li>
Complete a DRDP assessment on each student following the CP timeline for assessment</li><li>
Conduct two Parent/Teacher Conferences for each child annually</li><li>
Provide leadership, training, and coaching to all School-Age Staff</li><li>
Provide homework and tutoring services</li><li>
Assist in planning of summer, spring and winter camps; and oversee all aspects of camp field trips</li></ul>
Transportation:<ul><li>
Transport children to/from school and to off-track field trips in a CP vehicle</li><li>
Must have and maintain a clean driving record, both professionally and personally.</li></ul>
Preschool Instructional Assistant:<ul><li>
Support the Preschool Lead Teacher with all aspects of the part-day preschool program</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>Associate Degree or higher</li><li>
minimum of 12 ECE units +ability to attain Associate Teacher Permit</li><li>
Clean driving record and comfortable driving a 9-seater van.</li><li>
Experience with tutoring, planning school age activities, summer camps, and special events.</li><li>
Passionate in working with all ages 5-9.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements<ul><li>
Ability to work at various locations, as needed.</li><li>
Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods of time.</li><li>
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds to support children.</li><li>
Ability to bend and squat to interact with children.</li></ul></div>
