The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre-K program for 4-year-old children. The GSRP Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the GSRP grant. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond!

As a Lead GSRP Teacher, you&rsquo;ll:

<li>Create! Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.</li>
<li>Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.</li>
<li>Call the shots! Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on all licensing guidelines, company standards and Grant requirements.</li>
<li>Communicate! Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center&rsquo;s success.</li>
</ul>
We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education or related</li>
<li>Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans</li>
<li>The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.</li>
<li>The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.</li>

Participate in required professional development and coaching</li><li>
Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and community partners</li></ul>
We&rsquo;re seeking compassionate, curious, and committed educators who are eager to make a lasting impact. Candidates should bring:<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or valid teaching certificate with ZA/ZS endorsement</li><li>

As an Associate Teacher, you&rsquo;ll:

<li>Assist in observing and assessing children&rsquo;s development using approved tools</li>
<li>Help maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom</li>
<li>Build positive relationships with children and families</li>
