About Chileda:

The Role You'll Play: 
As a Full-Time Weekend Caregiver, you'll work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, supporting our residents to live fulfilling lives. From teaching independent living skills to facilitating fun community outings, you'll help our residents gain confidence and independence every day.
Your Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Resident Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of residents, creating a caring and fun environment.</li><li>
Personal Care Support: Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and hygiene, ensuring dignity and respect.</li><li>
Medication Management: Administer medications and keep accurate records.</li><li>
Community Outings: Accompany residents to exciting activities in the community, building social skills and enhancing their quality of life.</li><li>
Meal PrepCooking: Help prepare meals, teach cooking skills, and make mealtimes enjoyable and educational.</li><li>
Crisis Management: Use de-escalation techniques and support residents through challenging moments with patience and empathy.</li></ul>
CompensationBenefits:<ul><li>
$3/hour weekend shift differential for Saturdays and Sundays.</li><li>
$1 pay increases at 6 months and 12 months to reward your dedication and hard work.</li><li>

What We're Looking For:<ul><li>
Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.</li><li>
Experience: Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus, but we'll provide training for the right person!</li><li>
Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for community outings.</li><li>
Personality: We're looking for energetic, compassionate, and patient individuals who thrive in a dynamic, hands-on environment.</li><li>
Cooking Skills: While you don't need to be a chef, some cooking skills will make mealtime even more fun!</li></ul>
