We are currently seeking a Technical Engineer &ndash; Civil to join our team in Dubai. This role combines technical engineering responsibilities with active participation in tendering activities, offering an excellent opportunity to work on a range of challenging and rewarding projects.v Duties &amp; ResponsibilitiesTender Management&middot; Ensure collaboration between estimators, QS, commercial, procurement, planning, technical, and legal departments.&middot; Act as the focal point between senior management and the tender team.&middot; Analyse tender documents (scope, BOQ, drawings, specifications).&middot; Define win strategies, including pricing competitiveness, compliance, and technical approach.&middot; Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.&middot; Prepare a tender program with clear milestones and deadlines.&middot; Conduct regular tender progress meetings to ensure timely submission.&middot; Review and validate quantities, pricing, and subcontractor/supplier quotations.&middot; Ensure compliance with client&rsquo;s technical and commercial requirements.&middot; Coordinate preparation of alternative proposals (if permitted).&middot; Review tender documentation for accuracy, completeness, and professional presentation.&middot; Lead pre-bid and post-bid meetings, and clarify requirements through RFIs.&middot; Handle client queries and maintain strong relationships with consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders.&middot; Participate in negotiations and presentations with the client.&middot; Provide a detailed handover to the project team after award.&middot; Conduct post-tender lessons-learned sessions for continuous improvement.Technical Engineering&middot; Review and revise drawings to ensure compliance with design and client specifications.&middot; Prepare and manage engineering documentation, including RFIs, RFQs, and technical reports.&middot; Coordinate with Electrical, and MEP teams to ensure integration and compliance with civil works.&middot; Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of materials and services.&middot; Assist in project planning, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.&middot; Monitor progress reports and provide project management support to ensure timelines are met.&middot; Prepare and submit material submittals for consultant/client approval.&middot; Follow up with consultants for inspections and approvals to avoid project delays.&middot; Coordinate and prepare shop drawings as per project needs.&middot; Manage project-related correspondence effectively and professionally.Key Requirements&middot; Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering.&middot; Experience: Minimum 5 years in contracting/construction in UAE, including roles as Technical Engineer or Office Engineer.&middot; Must have proven experience in at least two or more of the following project types:o High-rise Residential Towerso Commercial Towers (offices, business centres)o Luxury Villas / Housing Projectso Mixed-use Developments (residential + retail + office)o Hotels &amp; Resortso Hospitals &amp; Schoolso Warehouses &amp; FactoriesSkills &amp; Competencies&middot; Strong knowledge of contracting and construction processes (BOQ, specifications, costing).&middot; Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.&middot; Excellent communication and negotiation skills with clients, suppliers, and consultants.&middot; Proficiency in:<ul><li>AutoCAD</li><li>Primavera P6 / MS Project (Project Planning &amp; Scheduling)</li><li>Civil 2D &amp; Civil 3D</li><li>MS Office Excel</li><li>Or any engineering and tendering software</li></ul>Job Details&middot; Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Contract&middot; Salary Range: AED 12,000 &ndash; 15,000/month&middot; Availability: Immediately or within 20 days&middot; Interview Type: Face-to-Face onlyJob Type: Full-timePay: Up to AED15,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>&bull;	Do you have experience in preparing technical and tender documents?</li><li>&bull;	Do you have experience in preparing and reviewing BOQs, shop drawings, and material submittals?</li><li>&bull;	Are you available to join immediately or within 30 days?</li><li>&bull;	Are you willing to attend a face-to-face interview in Dubai?</li><li>&bull;	Are you comfortable with the offered salary range (AED 12,000 &ndash; 15,000 full package)?</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>technical : 5 years (Preferred)</li></ul>
