CHP Home Care &amp; Hospice is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our busy HR department. This role involves assisting with employee onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS data entry, and maintaining compliance with employment and labor laws.The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and organizational abilities. This position offers an excellent opportunity with a dynamic, growing, nonprofit organization.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist with employee orientation, onboarding, and training</li><li>Maintain accurate HRIS data entry</li><li>Administer benefits programs including benefits enrollment, benefits administration, and workers' compensation claims</li><li>Support compliance efforts related to OSHA, FMLA, affirmative action planning, and employment &amp; labor law adherence</li><li>Manage employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality</li><li>Assist with project management tasks related to HR initiatives and strategic planning efforts</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Human resources management or administration experience preferred</li><li>Excellent communication skills&mdash;both written and verbal</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality</li><li>Proficiency in data entry, project coordination, and administrative tasks</li><li>Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently</li></ul>About Our CompanyCHP Home Care &amp; Hospice is a regional leader dedicated to providing compassionate home health care and hospice services in northwest and west central Ohio.
