Therapist and Wellbeing EducatorCenter for Wellbeing and Care Christ Church CharlotteChrist Church Charlotte is seeking a compassionate, clinically skilled, and faith-aware Therapist and Wellbeing Educator to join our Center for Wellbeing and Care. This part-time role is an opportunity to help nurture emotional, relational, and spiritual health within a vibrant congregation of more than 6,000 members and in the wider community.This position blends counseling, education, and community connection, serving individuals, couples, families, and groups while helping expand the church&rsquo;s holistic approach to wellness and healing.What You&rsquo;ll DoCounseling &amp; Care<ul><li>Provide individual (teen&ndash;adult) counseling and support groups for parishioners</li><li>Assess, diagnose, and treat clients using sound clinical practices</li><li>Maintain ethical standards and confidential clinical records</li><li>Offer support in times of crisis, illness, or major life transitions</li><li>Provide referrals to regional clinicians and resources</li></ul>Education &amp; Formation<ul><li>Develop and share mental health and wellness resources</li><li>Lead workshops, presentations, classes, and support groups for all ages</li><li>Help evaluate the effectiveness of programs and track outcomes</li></ul>Navigation &amp; Community Partnerships<ul><li>Build and maintain a strong referral network of therapists, psychiatrists, and care providers</li><li>Connect individuals and families with appropriate professional and community resources</li><li>Collaborate with agencies, treatment centers, and helping organizations</li></ul>Ministry &amp; Staff Life<ul><li>Work collaboratively with clergy and ministry staff</li><li>Participate in weekly staff meetings</li><li>Help shape the church&rsquo;s expanding vision for spiritual and mental wellbeing</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field</li><li>Current North Carolina license (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD required &mdash; no associate licenses)</li><li>Minimum two years of postgraduate counseling experience</li><li>Ability to provide psychotherapy to individuals and groups</li><li>Strong communication skills for teaching and public presentations</li><li>Appreciation for integrating faith, spirituality, and emotional wellbeing</li><li>Desire to help grow a Center focused on healing, connection, and care</li></ul>Position Details<ul><li>Part-time, exempt (28 hours/week, Monday&ndash;Friday)</li><li>Occasional evening or Sunday programming</li><li>Office space and administrative support provided</li><li>Annual stipend toward professional liability insurance</li></ul>Why This Role MattersThis role is central to Christ Church&rsquo;s mission to Love God, Care for Each Other, and Serve the World.
