Only candidates who provide a portfolio link will be considered.Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field</li><li>Minimum two years of interior design experience</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and DesignFiles preferred but not required. Training is available for the right candidate.</li><li>Exceptional organization and attention to detail with strong communication skills and warm, approachable style when working with clients, vendors and teammates</li><li>Quick learner who is good at following multi-step direction</li><li>A confident self-starter who is a team player and not afraid to ask questions</li><li>Experience with construction and renovation preferred but not required</li><li>Based in the western suburbs preferred; reliable transportation required (position may include local travel to client sites)</li><li>Applicants must have authorization to work in the U.S. Visa sponsorship is not offered.</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Create design concepts, elevations and 3D renderings using our design software</li><li>Collaborate with the Senior Design Team to develop innovative design concepts based on client requirements and budget constraints</li><li>Assist in creating design presentations, including mood boards, color schemes, material selection and furniture layouts</li><li>Communicate and coordinate with suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of design projects</li><li>Participate in site visits to assess project progress, provide design guidance and address any issues that may arise</li></ul>Schedule, Work Location &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Parttime position with a flexible schedule (approximately 4-8hour shifts, depending on project needs)</li><li>Hybrid work model combining inperson collaboration and independent remote work</li><li>Supportive, creative team environment that values growth and worklife balance</li></ul>This position will begin as a two-month trial period with performance evaluations at one month and two months.
