Why This Role Matters</div><div>
The Learning &amp; Development team designs and delivers leadership, management, personal development, and business skills training for our employees globally. The training is based on the latest thinking from subject matter experts and acknowledged best practices. We also integrate our knowledge and understanding of the firm&rsquo;s culture, values, systems, and procedures into the training. As a result, we provide training that is relevant to the work our people do and helps them meet the firm&rsquo;s objectives. The position is based in New York and reports to the Global Head of Talent Development and ED&amp;I Development. The post holder will work closely with colleagues in the US office, as well as those in London and the Asia regions (where applicable).</div><div></div><div>
How you'll make an impact</div><div>
Serve as a logistics point of contact for Americas programs, working closely with the Learning and Development Global Coordinator to ensure successful execution of administrative elements. This includes:</div><ul><li><div>
Serving as the logistics Americas lead for the following global Christies core programs: CDP, M@C, MDP, Masterclasses and Offsite.</div></li><li><div>
Serving as the logistics lead for Insights and Thomas DISC psychometric assessments.</div></li><li><div>
Coordinate end-to-end logistics for all Americas training programs, including scheduling, invitations, room bookings, materials preparation, and follow-up communications, room set-up etc.</div></li><li><div>
Administering psychometric assessments for Insights and Thomas DISC, including producing reports, monitoring usage, and requesting units as required.</div></li><li><div>
Ensuring materials for masterclasses are ready for delegates attending the relevant programs.</div></li><li><div>
Ensuring consistent communication with key POCs for training programs outside the New York office.</div></li><li><div>
Work closely with the Global L&amp;D Coordinator to keep L&amp;D systems and processes updated for accurate reporting and provide global support where needed.</div></li><li><div>
Maintaining accurate training records.</div></li><li><div>
Organizing and leading post-course review meetings to discuss feedback and make improvements.</div></li><li><div>
Ensuring timely processing of relevant invoices to avoid delays in payment.</div></li><li><div>
Evaluating and updating process notes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.</div></li><li><div>
Providing project updates to your manager consistently.</div></li><li><div>
Working with the Global L&amp;D Coordinator to send out evaluations for all training programs, collate responses, and produce monthly reports.</div></li><li><div>
Liaise with internal and external speakers, facilitators and consultants to ensure seamless program execution and invoicing</div></li><li><div>
Assist in maintaining the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring data accuracy, content updates, and delegate enrollments.</div></li><li><div>
Support the Global L&amp;D Coordinator with the coordination of our Business Getting and Negotiation Skills programs, including communication and delegating tracking</div></li><li><div>
Ensure all L&amp;D processes align with our team and company standards, timelines, and compliance requirements.</div></li><li><div>
Act as a key point of contact for learning-related inquires from employees and managers globally.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
What you&rsquo;ll bring to the team</div><ul><li><div>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field preferred.</div></li><li><div>
2&ndash;4 years of experience in learning and development, HR, or administrative roles.</div></li><li><div>
Experience coordinating training programs or supporting large-scale HR initiatives.</div></li><li><div>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., Cornerstone, Workday Learning).</div></li><li><div>
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on professionalism and clarity.</div></li><li><div>
Experience working in a global or matrixed organization is a plus.</div></li><li><div>
Experience in the art or other professional services environment desired.</div></li><li><div>
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.</div></li><li><div>

Why this role matters</div><div>
The Corporate Counsel will be based either in Gooding Christie&rsquo;s Santa Monica, California, location or in Christie&rsquo;s Rockefeller Center office in New York, New York, and report to the General Counsel of Gooding Christie&rsquo;s, the market-leading automotive auction house now owned by Christie&rsquo;s. The Corporate Counsel will support a wide range of commercial transactions and legal initiatives in both the auction and private sale contexts. This role will focus on transactional drafting and negotiation, with particular responsibility for contract form and systems development; international alignment of sale forms; and legal support for strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, highly organized, experienced in high-value, cross-border transactions, and has demonstrated experience managing complex legal projects.</div><div></div><div>
How you'll make an impact</div><ul><li><div>
Draft, negotiate, and align consignment agreements, private sale contracts, and auction documents across U.S. and international business lines.</div></li><li><div>
Support the creation, refinement, and harmonization of legal templates, terms, and conditions for both auction and private sale businesses.</div></li><li><div>
Structure and negotiate event-related agreements, including venue licenses, production services, media rights, sponsorships, vendor agreements, and related operational contracts.</div></li><li><div>
Assist with legal aspects of Gooding Christie&rsquo;s international expansion and integration into the Christie&rsquo;s global infrastructure.</div></li><li><div>
Provide legal guidance on the launch of new auctions in the United States, online sales platforms, and business initiatives.</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate with global legal colleagues to ensure contract consistency and cross-border legal compliance; occasionally liaise with external counsel on specialized matters.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
What you&rsquo;ll bring to the team</div><ul><li><div>
J.D. degree from an accredited law school; with admission to either NY or CA bar</div></li><li><div>
5-8 years of legal experience in private practice and/or in-house roles, with a focus on commercial transactions</div></li><li><div>
