Why this role matters</div><div>
The successful candidate will join the Christie&rsquo;s Art Transport team and be responsible for processing and organizing incoming invoices related to Art Transport and arranging transport of pre-sale property.</div><div></div><div>
How you'll make an impact</div><ul><li><div>
Organizing all incoming invoices related to Art Transport to ensure timely payment.</div></li><li><div>
Management of invoice processing systems shared between Accounts Payable and Art Transport.</div></li><li><div>
Work with department Admins and Shipping Coordinators to resolve invoice issues.</div></li><li><div>
Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.</div></li><li><div>
Daily communication with Accounts Payable.</div></li><li><div>
Procure packing and transportation services from our partner vendors and present transport options and cost for internal and external clients as needed.</div></li><li><div>
Build and maintain relationships with Specialist Art Departments to best understand property requirements, sales volumes and issue resolution.</div></li><li><div>
Work closely with the Pre-Sale Team to deliver an integrated, consistent and exceptional client experience.</div></li><li><div>
Monitor and execute quote requests in a timely manner in line with established service levels.</div></li><li><div>
Monitor the progress of shipments, working with vendors to troubleshoot and rectify problems in a timely manner and ensuring that interested parties are apprised of the status of the shipment.</div></li><li><div>
Liaise with the Shipping Managers to provide input on shippers&rsquo; performance and maintenance of service level requirements and KPIs.</div></li><li><div>
Ship in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.</div></li><li><div>
Ensure the timely collection of invoices and payment to appropriate shipping and external services vendors.</div></li><li><div>
Execution of Ad Hoc projects based on department needs.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
What you&rsquo;ll bring to the team</div><ul><li><div>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred or relevant work experience</div></li><li><div>
A minimum one years&rsquo; experience in an Accounts Payable or assistant role in high-paced environment</div></li><li><div>
Excellent interpersonal skills, including superior written and spoken communication.</div></li><li><div>
Ability to remain composed and professional in stressful situations.</div></li><li><div>
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize.</div></li><li><div>
Strong follow-up skills with attention to detail.</div></li><li><div>
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.</div></li></ul><div></div><div><i>
