Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe. As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to accurately document patient encounters and assist with medical administrative support. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in the medical field.Responsibilities: - Accurately document patient encounters, including medical histories, symptoms, and treatment plans - Assist healthcare professionals with medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records - Transcribe physician orders, prescriptions, and other medical instructions - Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations - Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely documentation - Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional mannerExperience: - Previous experience as a Medical Scribe or similar role is preferred but not required - Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and coding is highly desirable - Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsSkills: - Proficient in recording vital signs accurately - Knowledge of X-Ray procedures and terminology - Ability to provide exceptional patient care and service - Understanding of medical administrative support functions - Familiarity with medical terminology and coding practicesJob Type: Part-timePay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hourMedical Specialty:<ul><li>Orthopedics</li><li>Trauma Medicine</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>San Diego, CA 92111 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>San Diego, CA 92111: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
