Maintenance Mechanic Duties: 
<ul>
<li>Troubleshoot and repair all hydraulic systems and equipment.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and repair all pneumatic systems and equipment.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, perform PM’s on HVAC systems.</li>
<li>Establish and follow Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules and procedures for equipment.</li>
<li>Use and read blue prints, schematics, flow diagrams and one line drawings to diagnose and repair production equipment.</li>
<li>Use mathematical formulas to solve for Area, Volume, Amperes, Ohms, Watts and other common maintenance related problems.</li>
<li>Support all lean manufacturing and total preventive maintenance (TPM) initiatives.</li>
<li>Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, policies and regulations.</li>
<li>Regular inspection of assigned equipment to identify areas in need of attention.</li>
<li>Maintains continuity among team members by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs improvement.</li>
<li>Responsible for facility repairs such as drywall, plumbing, painting etc.</li>
<li>Regular attendance and punctuality.</li>
<li>Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards</li>
<li>Ensures compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO-9000 quality requirements</li>
<li>Repair landscape irrigation system.</li>
<li>Performing other tasks in the facility, as needed.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
 
<ul>
<li>Ability to read, interpret blueprints and equipment manuals</li>
<li>Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical circuitry</li>
<li>Ability to read, interpret and understand work in-process documents</li>
<li>Possess minimum welding, plumbing and carpentry skills</li>
<li>Understand preventative maintenance systems</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability</li>
<li>Lean skills continually drives process improvements</li>
<li>Team building skills</li>
<li>Must be fluent in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writing</li>
<li>High School diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Minimum of five (5) years experience in a medium and/or heavy industrial manufacturing environment</li>
<li>Fork lift certification</li>
<li>Certify color vision per electrical specifications</li>

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. Summary: Performs all the duties of an Industrial Maintenance Technician, fault find and repair, installs and replaces electrical equipment and appliances following safe working procedures and 6s methodology.
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:
 <ul>
<li>Utilizes electrical and mechanical knowledge to maintain, repair and implement improvements to department robotics, material handling, and computerized storage and retrieval system controlled via PLC’s and limit switches.</li>
<li>Reads and understands blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.</li>
<li>Conducts tests to locate mechanical system malfunction.</li>
<li>Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.</li>
<li>Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.</li>
<li>Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.</li>
<li>Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.</li>
<li>Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.</li>
<li>Repairs or replaces defective parts.</li>
<li>Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.</li>
<li>Lubricates and cleans parts.</li>
<li>Uses machine tools in installation, maintenance or repair.</li>
<li>Starts devices to test their performance.</li>
<li>Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.</li>
<li>Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.</li>
<li>Repairs electrical equipment.</li>
<li>Utilizes braze-welding equipment as needed.</li>
<li>Maintains repair records.</li>
<li>Maintains a clean and orderly maintenance shop.</li>
<li>Adheres to safety procedures</li>

 Education and/or Experience
 High school diploma plus two years college level courses or equivalent. Minimum five years related experience in maintenance of hi-tech computerized systems and equipment.
 Language Skills
 Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
 Mathematical Skills
 Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
 Reasoning Ability
