Position Overview
 We are seeking a proactive On-Site Epicor ERP Business Analyst to support and optimize our current Epicor implementation at our San Diego facility. This role is ideal for a technically skilled, hands-on professional eager to ensure the stability, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of our Epicor ERP system. The analyst will provide direct, on-site support to users, troubleshoot issues, drive process improvements, and partner with business units to ensure the ERP system effectively meets operational needs.
 Key Responsibilities
 <ul>
<li>Serve as the primary on-site support resource for Epicor ERP, addressing user issues, system errors, and process questions promptly and effectively.</li>
<li>Analyze and resolve day-to-day operational challenges related to the existing Epicor implementation, ensuring system reliability and efficiency.</li>
<li>Gather feedback and requirements from on-site business units, translating needs into system updates, enhancements, or process adjustments.</li>
<li>Design, configure, and test Epicor ERP modules and customizations to optimize workflows and support site-specific requirements.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain user training materials and documentation tailored to the current on-site system and processes.</li>
<li>Deliver hands-on end-user training and reinforce best practices for ERP usage to maximize adoption and compliance.</li>
<li>Coordinate with Epicor vendor support and IT colleagues to resolve complex technical issues and implement updates or patches as needed.</li>
<li>Lead or assist with on-site ERP-related projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and business outcomes.</li>
<li>Monitor system usage and data integrity, proactively identifying and correcting discrepancies to uphold data accuracy and compliance standards.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications
 <ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.</li>
<li>5 years of hands-on Epicor ERP experience, including on-site system support, configuration, and troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with demonstrated experience in on-site ERP support roles.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation, with the ability to support and train end users at all levels.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently on-site, prioritize multiple requests, and collaborate effectively with local and remote teams.</li>
</ul>
This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
 The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. POSITION SUMMARY: 
This role is an Hourly - Direct Labor position that is responsible for the operation and supporting activities surrounding a particular coating process. The primary equipment will be operated through HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces) and a series of switches, pushbuttons, and other interactive control points. Successful Operators will be capable to produce the required amount of product in a defined period while ensuring all EHS and Quality requirements are continuously satisfied. The Operator will be required to work as part of a team with Operations Support, Engineering, Maintenance, and Management personnel. Some overtime will be required on occasion to meet production and project schedules. Limited travel may be required in support of training program. Operators will be provided the opportunity to progress within the role as defined below.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
<ul>
<li>Perform complex and multi-level tasks from procedures and work instructions defining the tasks.</li>
<li>Maintain timely and accurate record keeping using provided tools including digital and handwritten data entry and notes.</li>
<li>Maintain 100% compliance with PPE requirements while operating equipment and/or performing supporting operations, includes ensuring your PPE is functioning properly prior to starting a task.</li>
<li>Participate and adhere to all Cpex initiatives (5S, TPM, SW, VM, etc) introduced into the process cell.</li>
<li>Effectively operate within a ‘Fixed Process’ environment with strong compliance (FAA, AS 9100) requirements governing product integrity.</li>
<li>Effectively identify and communicate non-standard situations including EHS and Product Integrity concerns.</li>
<li>Expected to follow best practice guidelines with respect to product and raw material handling requirements necessary in a high vacuum coating environment.</li>
<li>Complete periodic TPM activities (Checklists) in support of assigned processes and equipment.</li>
<li>Responsible to review your own work for completeness and quality compliance. Examples of typical reviews:</li>
<li>reviewing and interpreting electronic data logs or trending charts at the HMIs,</li>
<li>manually measuring critical process outputs like part weights, surface roughness and physical dimensions,</li>
<li>visually identifying surface imperfections against standards,</li>
<li>confirming values from analog or digital gauges and displays incorporated into the equipment.</li>
<li>Operate support equipment (pre/post coating). Examples of equipment types:</li>
<li>abrasive blasting systems,</li>
<li>parts washers and/or aqueous cleaning lines,</li>
<li>high temperature ovens and furnaces,</li>
<li>material handling equipment,</li>
<li>surface enhancement equipment,</li>
<li>robotic waterjet blasting system.</li>
<li>Support Coater Operators by performing the following.</li>
<li>part loading/unloading,</li>
<li>fixture assembly/disassembly,</li>
<li>chamber loading/unloading process steps.</li>
<li>Maintaining metal coating fixtures for use in coater which including visually verifying condition, removing residual coatings, and removing any contamination that may have affected the fixtures.</li>
<li>Support the process team to complete standard rebuild and material loading tasks (i.e., Turn Arounds).</li>
<li>Expect punctual and accurate time keeping for tasks performed in accordance with site Direct Labor recording standards.</li>
<li>Cross training in other coating process areas as needed to support production requirements. Will be required to complete the training program for each process prior to performed assignments in that area.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED).</li>
<li>At least 2 years’ experience working in a production manufacturing environment</li>
<li>Additional Education, Training, Certifications, or Licenses that are applicable will be considered and may be used to supersede either of the other two requirements.</li>
</ul>
LANGUAGE SKILLS: 
<ul>
<li>Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.</li>
<li>Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.</li>
<li>Write routine reports and correspondence either in digital or handwritten formats.</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with supervisor, engineers, and co-workers.</li>
</ul>
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS and SCIENTIFIC PRINCIPLES: 
<ul>
<li>Required to perform basic mathematical functions with decimals, fractions, or percentages.</li>
<li>Convert numbers from scientific notation to decimal form.</li>
<li>Convert units of measurement between English and Metric systems.</li>
<li>Basic understanding of common scientific principles like fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and energy is a plus.</li>
</ul>
REASONING ABILITY: 
<ul>
<li>Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.</li>
<li>Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.</li>

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

<li>The employee is regularly exposed to extreme heat, sharp objects, and moving mechanical parts. Propper and functioning PPE, Machine guarding, and interlocking are designed into the process for employee protection, but employee awareness to hazards and controls is essential to maintaining a safe work environment for you and your co-workers.</li>
<li>Some tasks may introduce additional hazards associated with respiratory and skin irritants, asphyxiation, fall hazards, and electrical hazards including electrical shock or arc flash. Where applicable, employees will be provided adequate training, PPE, and procedures to protect against these hazards.</li>
<li>Generally, the work environment is maintained at a controlled temperature and humidity for comfortable working conditions, however, some tasks are performed in isolated areas where wet or humid conditions may exist.</li>
<li>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but if performing work in areas deemed high noise areas, hearing protection will be supplied and required while in the designated area.</li>
<li>The EB-PVD Coater is a source of ionizing radiation. The machine design incorporates shielding to contain radiation so that exposure to employees in normal operating conditions is below background levels. To mitigate risk from accidental releases, employees may be required to wear a radiation monitor (dosimeter) while present on the coater platform. Radiation awareness training will be required of all employees that may work on the platform.</li>
<li>Standard shop floor PPE requirements will be enforced as well. As a minimum this includes eye protection and steel-toed shoes. Other requirements may be added by EHS based on hazard surveys and potential in isolated areas.</li>
</ul>
