Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Education: Graduate / Diploma in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Commerce, or Engineering.</li><li>Experience: 3&ndash;4 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory management, preferably in an educational institution</li><li>Technical Skills:</li><li>Hands-on experience with SAP (MM module) or similar ERP systems.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.</li><li>Knowledge of inventory control techniques and warehouse management principles.</li></ul>1. Inventory &amp; Stock Management<ul><li>Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials including stationery, housekeeping supplies, uniforms, furniture, sports goods, laboratory items, and office consumables.</li><li>Implement systematic storage and labeling of all stock items for easy identification and retrieval.</li><li>Monitor stock levels regularly and initiate replenishment as per school requirements and approval processes.</li><li>Conduct periodic stock verification (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and reconcile discrepancies between physical and system records.</li><li>Apply proper inventory control methods such as FIFO (First-In-First-Out) to minimize wastage or expiry of consumables.</li></ul>2. Procurement Coordination<ul><li>Raise material requisitions based on consumption and requirements received from departments (academic, admin, housekeeping, labs, sports, etc.).</li><li>Coordinate with the purchase department for timely procurement and delivery of approved items.</li><li>Verify the quality and quantity of goods received against purchase orders and supplier invoices.</li><li>Maintain proper documentation such as Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and material issue slips.</li></ul>3. Store Operations &amp; Housekeeping<ul><li>Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of store areas.</li><li>Organize stock systematically (by category and department) to maintain accessibility and order.</li><li>Supervise store helpers or attendants and assign daily tasks related to material handling.</li><li>Implement and maintain 5S (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) principles in store management.</li></ul>4. Record Keeping &amp; System Management<ul><li>Enter all transactions (receipts, issues, returns, adjustments) into the inventory management system or ERP (SAP/MM or equivalent).</li><li>Maintain updated item masters, stock ledgers, and consumption reports.</li><li>Generate periodic reports on stock status, consumption patterns, and reorder levels for management review.</li><li>Ensure data accuracy, timely posting of entries, and proper documentation for internal audits.</li></ul>5. Coordination with Departments<ul><li>Liaise with academic departments, laboratories, administration, housekeeping, and canteen for timely issue and return of materials.</li><li>Support annual budgeting by providing data on consumption trends and future requirements.</li><li>Communicate effectively with the finance and procurement teams for invoice verification and vendor payments.</li><li>Assist in planning and execution of annual school events by ensuring availability of necessary materials and equipment.</li></ul>6. Compliance &amp; Safety<ul><li>Follow all school policies and procedures related to store operations, safety, and procurement.</li><li>Ensure safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals, laboratory supplies, and electrical materials.</li><li>Support audit teams during internal or external audits by providing required records and reports.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of vendor and inventory-related information.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;30,000.00 - &#8377;40,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
