OBJECTIVES: Safely operate manufacturing equipment to produce quality products. Understand production requirements. Perform Autonomous Maintenance tasks to maintain equipment and work area. Work cooperatively with employees to fulfill all line responsibilities each shift. 
RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Demonstrate safety ownership by wearing required PPE and following LOTO procedures at all times. Report near miss safety incidents and conditions each month. Comply with all Plant Safety, ISO, OSHA procedures, and other programs.</li><li>
Learn and demonstrate excellence in quality though first-time right production and documentation on assigned line(s).</li><li>
Learn and complete autonomous maintenance activities on assigned equipment and actively submit work orders.</li><li>
Understand rate, daily OEE, and production requirements.</li><li>
Complete all machine operation training and assessments on assigned line and operate without supervision.</li><li>
Learn and consistently complete all line tech responsibilities including but not limited to: 5S, line boards updated every shift, downtime tracking and participate in Tier meetings.</li><li>
Maintain and demonstrate a positive attitude toward team members on all shifts, management, and plant processes/policies.</li><li>
Actively engage in driving out losses using Lean methods. Suggests and participates in improvement Kaizen events/teams.</li><li>
Strive for knowledge and skill to positively solve personnel and equipment issues. Work cooperatively with other Technicians and Coworkers.</li><li>
Cross training on all department equipment is mandatory:</li><li>
a. Line areas</li><li>
i. Startup operation</li><li>
ii. Shutdown operation</li><li>
iii. Equipment Changeover</li><li>
b. Forklift operation</li><li>
c. Scent Booster processing operation</li><li>
Obtain a working knowledge of and be able to demonstrate all SOPs applicable to processing.</li><li>
Capable of batching all Salt batches with minimal supervision. Includes printing and following batching formulations.</li><li>
Performs training for newly hired technicians as well as monitor the Proof of Knowledge process for mandated training. 14. Work overtime as required.</li><li>

EDUCATION: MINIMUM REQUIREMENT 
High school diploma or equivalent. 
Basic Arithmetic skills in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, fractions, and decimals 
without a calculator. 
Must be able to read and understand English; Able to properly Fill out required forms in English; complete and understand &ldquo;read &amp; sign&rdquo; training in English. 
EXPERIENCE: MINIMUM REQUIREMENT 
Prefer at least one years&rsquo; experience related to this position in high-speed manufacturing such as in the pharmaceutical, consumer products, food and/or medical device industry. 
SPECIAL SKILLS: 
Must be able to follow instructions and exercise good judgment. 
Must be able to use electrical and/or hand trucks, tools and all equipment safely. 
Must have mechanical aptitude and understand machinery operation. 
Must be able to work with minimal or no supervision. 
Must be able to complete production reports and communicate effectively.

Compensation</h2><ul><li>
Base Pay: $32.75 per hour, plus shift differential</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Essential Responsibilities</h2><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Non-Dental Functions</h3><ul><li>
Transfer semi-finished product from the main vessel to tote run tank</li><li>
Perform manual additions 80%&ndash;100% of the workday</li><li>
Work daily with corrosives, acids, toxic materials, oxidizers, and high-temperature unfinished products</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Dental and Non-Dental Functions</h3><ul><li>
Perform washouts, purges, and all required paperwork, including batch changes, to maintain production lines</li><li>
Report to the Processing Supervisor to receive daily assignments</li><li>
Stage batches using a fork truck</li><li>
Add dry and liquid raw materials into blenders</li><li>
Properly label tanks, totes, samples, and related materials</li><li>
Run multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously (e.g., charging raw materials to the main vessel while preparing pre-mixes)</li><li>
Follow batch sheet instructions and sign off on each step of the process (FDA required)</li><li>
Obtain samples from each batch and submit them to the Quality Department for approval</li><li>
Manage bulk liquid and dry inventory using the WMS system</li><li>
Perform OSHA-required forklift safety inspections and complete checklists</li><li>
Wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety procedures</li><li>
Maintain a clean and organized work area</li><li>
Adhere to departmental SOPs, GMPs, and JSAs</li><li>
Participate in all job-related safety training and comply with all safety policies and procedures</li><li>
Receive general orientation, job-specific training, and refresher training related to hazardous chemicals handled</li><li>
Comply with all NJ laws and company policies when sampling, unloading, pre-weighing, transferring, and/or handling hazardous chemicals</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Dental Functions</h3><ul><li>
Operate an automated control process using an HMI touchscreen to process semi-finished product</li><li>
Connect dedicated hoses to transfer raw materials from tankers to pre-fill batch hoppers</li><li>
Manually introduce raw materials into the main vessel through a vacuum system</li><li>
Batch and supply production lines with product via storage or totes</li><li>
Work with oxidizers and toxic raw materials</li><li>
Maintain the LPD skid to support daily packaging line requirements</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Education &amp; Experience Required</h2><ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)</li><li>
Chemical aptitude with experience in chemical mixing and batching processes</li><li>
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Compounder/Batch Maker in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (FDA environment preferred)</li><li>
Experience with WMS systems is a plus</li><li>
Must pass a respiratory fit test to wear a respirator</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
