CHYS supports JoinGet.org, a remote pet ID reader that helps reunite lost pets with their owners.We are preparing for an aggressive public launch and need a world-class app and web designer to elevate our product&rsquo;s look, feel, and user experience, ensuring it&rsquo;s fun, intuitive, and consistent with our brand identity.Role SummaryWe are looking for a highly creative, detail-oriented App/UI/UX Designer with strong skills in mobile and web product design. You will:<ul><li>Refine and redesign our existing CHYS app (Flutter-based)</li><li>Create a website for the app, even though it is not yet approved on stores, the website is urgent</li><li>Ensure the entire app and website follow our existing style and color scheme</li><li>Simplify coding and focus on super fun user experiences, designed around pets and the local businesses</li><li>Avoid standard AI/fabrication platforms; instead, improve the current app design to make it smoother, lighter, and engaging</li></ul>This role is ideal for someone who can translate ideas into delightful, community-focused visuals, and can work quickly to meet deadlines.Responsibilities<ul><li>Refine and redesign CHYS app interface (mobile and web)</li><li>Create new screens, user flows, micro-interactions, and feature concepts</li><li>Ensure all screens follow a cohesive design system in Figma</li><li>Maintain UI consistency with our brand style (cute 2D emojis, bright green/orange/black theme)</li><li>Collaborate closely with the founder and developers</li><li>Provide design assets ready for implementation</li><li>Optimize designs for super fun, intuitive, and simple coding experience</li><li>Deliver website quickly, building from the existing app</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>3&ndash;7+ years professional experience in mobile and web app design (iOS/Android)</li><li>Expert in Figma and web design principles</li><li>Strong portfolio of consumer or social apps</li><li>Ability to produce clean, visually appealing UI and smooth UX</li><li>Knowledge of Flutter development or ability to design for easy integration</li><li>Experience in creating light, fun, community-focused designs</li><li>Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and turn ideas into visuals fast</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with startup apps or fast-paced environments</li><li>Experience in gamified or community-based apps</li><li>Familiarity with pet-related products, characters, or avatars</li><li>Ability to provide motion graphics or simple animations is a plus</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>Competitive hourly or fixed-rate contract</li><li>Long-term ongoing work available</li><li>Opportunity to transition into a core design lead role as the app grows</li></ul>How to ApplyPlease submit the following to Indeed:<ul><li>Portfolio link (required)</li><li>Resume</li><li>A short note explaining why you are a good fit for CHYS APP LLC</li><li>Examples of mobile or web screens that match or inspire our visual style</li></ul>Job Type: ContractPay: $67,648.46 - $81,469.12 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
