We pride ourselves on building strong client relationships through integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.We&rsquo;re growing and looking for an experienced Accountant who can manage complex accounting work, assist with client engagements, and support our team during busy seasons.MUST take a highly proactive approach to jump in, learn new things, help others and take joy in team results instead of individual accomplishments.Position is in person with the option of a hybrid schedule and will include some offsite work at client locations.Key Responsibilities&middot; Manage bookkeeping and accounting functions for multiple clients&middot; Prepare and review financial statements and management reports&middot; Perform bank and account reconciliations&middot; Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (federal and state)&middot; Support month-end and year-end close processes&middot; Assist with client advisory projects, budgeting, and cash flow analysis&middot; Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax regulations&middot; Communicate directly with clients regarding accounting and tax questions&middot; Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial statements.&middot; Client care to maintain an exceptional client relationship.&middot; Has the technical expertise to perform your job duties.&middot; Communicates effectively with team members and clients.&middot; Works closely with the company president and upper management&middot; Upholds the values of the firm.Qualifications&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)&middot; Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience&middot; Strong understanding of GAAP and tax principles&middot; Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and Desktop) and Excel&middot; Experience with tax software such as Drake, UltraTax, or ProSeries a plus&middot; Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills&middot; Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities independently&middot; High level of accuracy and confidentialityCompensation and Benefits&middot; Compensation commensurate with experience&middot; 401K matching&middot; Paid Time Off&middot; Technical and professional development training&middot; Building confidence with our team members&middot; Flex schedule, as necessary, when pre-approved&middot; Growth opportunities within our firm&middot; Culture that supports health and wellness opportunities&middot; Work with smart people and great clientsPay: From $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sewell, NJ 08080
