About the Role</div></div><div><div>
Key Responsibilities:<br>
<ul><li>Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL Server databases (2012 and above)</li><li>Perform database migrations (on-prem to on-prem / on-prem to Azure SQL / IaaS)</li><li>Ensure high availability and disaster recovery setups are maintained</li><li>Perform database backups, restores, and recovery</li><li>Monitor database performance and implement tuning improvements</li><li>Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for deployments</li><li>Implement and enforce database security policies</li><li>Automate recurring DBA tasks using PowerShell, T-SQL, or other scripting tools</li><li>Prepare documentation for configurations, standards, and procedures</li><li>Work closely with stakeholders to understand migration goals and timelines</li></ul>

Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:<br>
<ul><li>4&ndash;6 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA</li><li>Strong experience in database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching</li><li>Solid understanding of performance tuning and optimization</li><li>Experience with database migration projects</li><li>Good understanding of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies</li><li>Working knowledge of backup/recovery, replication, and log shipping</li><li>Proficient in writing and optimizing complex T-SQL queries</li></ul>

Preferred / Secondary Skills:<br>
<ul><li>Experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure SQL Database, Azure VM with SQL Server, Azure Database Migration Service)</li><li>Familiarity with cloud migration strategies and tools</li><li>Exposure to Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure Monitor, or Log Analytics is a plus</li><li>Understanding of hybrid cloud environments</li></ul>
